Re: So Sick (43 g in 24 hours at live poker)
I was the dealer at this game and can verify that it is true. This kid turned 1k into 43k after a 24hr+ game. Big losers in the game were 36k and 24k. I made 2k in tips. Needless to say it was a wild...

Re: AA under pressure
n1232: raising flop is bad because the raise would be to in the area of 60USD. Villain covers (by a mile). This raise would open the door for him to shove with a worse hand that would force us to...

Re: 200 6m: monster flop draw gone bad
I use aejones's reasoning to put villain on AQ/AT. That being said, I think the turn is a fold. There is no hand that the villain could think that we have that he is currently beating (KK, AT, AK)...

Re: pair + FD oop
If you call here you pretty much gotta open shove the turn, cause if you check, he'll bet, and no raise you can make will get him to fold. That being said, what turn cards do you think would scare...

Re: AA under pressure
I like this. When I look at villains flop bet I see it as him just trying to steal the drivers seat from you (cause of threatening stack and scary board backed up by FE for him). I wouldn't be...

Re: Guide for playing 99-QQ
bilbo-san, without being too nasty, you are IMO a disease upon the forums. in your last three posts youve rudely critized people's advice (while apparently not even understanding said people's...

Another question for this lively discussion:D
What sort of action/board is necessary to convince you that your overpair is no good?

Re: Guide for playing 99-QQ
if this shove is more than say, twice the value of your reraise, then you can be confident you are beat. remember, JJ is no AA (and AA is no set). however, if you reraised to like 25 (just for...

Re: 200BB deep, bottom set, ugly action
I think you need to seriously consider potting here, which means 25.75 or some number near that. You are prolly ahead here, but the thing you need to realize is that you likely have no redraws here...

Re: Here\'s a doozy, 77 - PP NL100 6max
