Thanks, plenty of good points in there. I folded and he showed me his AJ of spades. I should have bet the turn.

NL100: Trouble after isolating raise

Villain is at 24/6/2, I am at 14/12. I raise pre to punish the open limp, then raise the flop to see where I am. Should I have fired at the turn again? I am good on the river?

NL100: AKo OOP

Feel free to flame away, this was garbage. I dont like hands like this OOP, is it too nitty to just fold? After the third barrel I was commited anyway, felt a bit foolish after this...

Re: NL25 late blind --> two pair --> villain wants to play --> ugly river

I think against an unknown with that turn card I would be inclined to bet more and put him to a descision for his stack there and then. Not knowing where you are with him leaves a lot of rivers that...

I love it when people berate me at the tables when I do something that they just don't understand. Just make sure you tell them a silly reason for why you did it, you don't want them to...

Re: 100NL: JJ in BB against donk

He flipped K10 and spiked a King on the turn, which I think overshadowed the fact I didnt play this too well.

Re: 100NL:KK, overs on coordinated board

Yeah, I folded, played like a bit of a spaz so just wanted a check. Is the flop bet OK?

100NL: Is this worth a river bet?

Villain hasnt been sat down long, and is unknown. I am at 18/11.
I C-bet the flop and was going to fold to a turn bet, but his check behind threw me, what is his range here? Tried a bet on the end...

100NL: JJ in BB against donk

Villain is 45/20/4 over 50 or so hands, and has already shown up with a load of rubbish and sucked out a couple of hands ago.
I am at 18/12. Wasnt sure about his re-raise, looking back I dont really...

100NL:KK, overs on coordinated board

Villain is unknown, I havent been sat down long. I bet the flop to try and push out draw, a bad turn card means this is an easy fold right?

Re: NL50: TP2K, interesting one pair hand in unraised pot.

I think the way you have highlighted the thought process is fine, dont disagree with it. From my limited experience this felt more like two pair than aything else and my only concern with how it...

Re: NL50: TP2K, interesting one pair hand in unraised pot.

Not that I am any kind of expert but I feel you got a little lucky here. Fair enough your sample size on him is small, but when he pots it into so many players on the flop, you just calling doesnt...

Re: NL100: Typical spot on flop against shortstack

I have been in this spot so many times lately, and as has already been said, a standard c-bet should do the trick here.

Re: NL100: Call this river in the BB?

Why is the flop lead so bad? I am not saying it isnt, just curious about the reasoning?

NL100: How do I get more value?

No reads on villain, I was at 15/12 over 150 or so. I dont think I get enough value in situations like this, should I be calling the turn to raise the river?

Re: NL 25 TT- tough spot, standard?

Check the turn, you are only going to get called by hands that beat you, so checking doesnt lose you any value. Raise the flop to get a better idea of where you are at.

Re: BB flop 2 pair and c/rd on river, too nitty?

I think I would check behind on the river as well, you are probably only going to get called or raised by hands that beat you.
