Re: Best book on tells

If you are serious about reading players, why would you stick with one book? No one book will be a comprehensive primer on tells. Navarro's book is probably one of the best but you definately need...

1) There can be little doubt HOH1 is the best-selling poker book of all times. All indicators point to it.

2) You're underestimating Hellmuth's PPLTP. I agree that most other name...

Re: Mark Blade\'s book(s)

Agreed.

Blade's book and Greenstein's shouldn't be about strategy and charts/odds - but on how to deal with playing for a living. If you intend to go pro, it should be assumed that you are a...

If you are looking at starting NL, I can suggest Neil Myers' book: Hold'em Hand by Hand.
I did a review on this book (take a look at the board below) and think it is quite good for a starting NL...

Re: Mark Blade\'s book(s)

I may be wrong but wasn't there an errata list for his first book (the first printing)? Could someone send me a link to it if they have it?

I recently started reading this book and have to say that it is very good - especially given the fact that it was one of the very first books dedicated to NL cash games.

I am just finishing up the...
