Re: 200NL live, deepstacked and drunk. Fold a boat?

The only two hands that do beat me are JJ and J-10, but either of them are plausible here, especially given the river action... in fact, given the river bet against me, who he views as the most solid...

200NL live, deepstacked and drunk. Fold a boat?

Somewhat drunken 6-handed home game, but certainly not easy competition. Opposition is overall extremely LAG; villain in this hand is the toughest player at the table, and will almost always have the...

Re: Do I even know how to play anymore? Some 1-2 NL hands. . .

Hand 2 I think that with my stack size I'd like to get it all in while I still have all those outs - but would you play a draw like this if the effective stacks were much deeper, say we both had over...

Re: Do I even know how to play anymore? Some 1-2 NL hands. . .

Hand 1 is tough because I have no idea what his hand ranges would be here - I opted to fold but looking back on the hand I think that this is a call against most live 1-2 NL opponents .

Do I even know how to play anymore? Some 1-2 NL hands. . .

Don't know if i'm running bad or if i really can't beat the live 1-2 NL game anymore. How do these hands look:

Hand 1:

Villain is new to table, and has bought in for 300. I cover.

Re: Post-exams Poker Trip Suggestions

SF is definitely a possibility as well, I'm going to check out flight prices for this area. Is there any public transpo to and from the casinos there?

Re: Post-exams Poker Trip Suggestions

This is true, but I think what I really want to do is check out some new place I've never been, and if I could get a couple days of poker in it'd be ideal.

I just mapquested Fallsview, it's under...

Re: Post-exams Poker Trip Suggestions

It is a possibility- I forgot to specify that I've flown out to Vegas twice in the past year and could perhaps use a change of scenery.

I think Fallsview would be within driving distance - is this...

Re: Can we call this?

But it's live 1-2 NL.

Villain has probably raised at least 50 percent of his buttons.

Can we call this?

Live 1-2 NL with effective stacks around 340.

Villain in this hand has been raising pretty regularly from the button/CO and been following up with CB's probably around 75% of the time, even into a...

Re: 1-2 NL deepstacked. . . tough river decision w/ mid set

The turn bet was where I made a serious mistake; I agree that a bet of 150-200 would have been the right more there.

I think that my reasoning during the hand was that I wanted Villain 2 to commit...

1-2 NL deepstacked. . . tough river decision w/ mid set

This is a live 1-2 NL game with a 300 capped buyin.

The villain is new to the table but is from a broken game, so his stack is roughly 500, and I cover.

Villain 2 is a serious calling station,...

Re: Wynn poker rates?

For the rate of the room and the quality of accomadations, it's not even close. I have not stayed at the B but have had rooms at MB, TI, the Monte Carlo, Excal, Stardust, etc. . . and none of these...

Re: 2-5 NL Foxwoods. . . When in doubt, push??

My goal here was to try to get action from a hand like AK w/ the A /images/graemlins/heart.gif because both of these players had been willing to call very large bets with less than premium holdings. ...

2-5 NL Foxwoods. . . When in doubt, push??

2-5 NL Game at Foxwoods this afternoon -

The table has been very heavy on the action and the 2 villains in this hand have been supplying most of it.

Villain 1: An older asian gentleman, has...
