Re: Turtle Trading

Thanks for the reply. Covel's book seemed to indicate that the turtles were required to follow the rules exactly, but I knew there had to be more to it.

By the way, he is not very complimentary...

Re: 8:1 odds preflop

[ QUOTE ]
So, just be happy that we're leading with the nut hand preflop and get as much money in as possible. I guess so. But considering that AA wins without improvement at about only 35% of the...

Re: Legal workaround/possible $$ laundering for US players?

[ QUOTE ]
Look, what you are theoretically discussing, would run into FBAR, money laundering, tax evasion problems, and probably some I haven't thought of yet. I suggest you just get your own...

Re: Legal workaround/possible $$ laundering for US players?

Don't know about FT, but the checks from PokerStars are from a US account and look like an ordinary check from a U.S. business. For a...

Re: depositing at stars & full tilt from the u.s

For small deposits it probably wouldn't be practical, but for larger deposits and withdrawals, you can just FedEx a cashier's check and receive checks. For checks over $1000, stars will FedEx the...

Re: So I have a problem with taxes and I need help.

Usually fines and interest are based on the amount you owe. But you only have a certain amount of time to file for a refund...I think until the end of the year.

Anyway, file for the extension...

Re: zomg another taxes question

Let's say it's 10000:1 that you get caught. Since it's fraud you are looking at jail time probably plus a lot of legal fees unless you just give up.

If you win 100000 and pay the entry fee of 10000 out of your pocket, you have a net win of 90000 for that tournament.

If you win 100000 and win your seat with a 215 entry fee satellite tournament,...
