How do I know my coach is qualified?

With all the different coaches out there, how do I know the one I get will be worth it? I'm looking for the most bang for your buck. After a few month hiatus I'm coming back to poker post-ban with a...

Re: 44 OTB HU again

I'd just call and pay attention to what he shows down here. His stats only tell you that he's pretty bad, and bad isn't necessarily random. the queen pairing only adds to potential screwiness.

123Poker/Bodog Account Rollovers...

Anyone had trouble with the account rollovers after Bodog bought 123poker's USA player base? I've been waiting on $1500 I had in 123poker to show up in my Bodog account. I've called tech support...

Re: TPDK against TAG PRRer

I'd fold the flop, and I think it's a pretty clear one too.

Re: a pure bluff on a good bluffing card

Sparky,

You don't think his hand is good enough to defend an UTG open 5-ways?

[/ QUOTE ]

Getting 3.5-1, I don't think so, especially if one is bluffing too much as this guy would...

Re: a pure bluff on a good bluffing card

I don't like your play here, but I think Villain is either bet/folding or calling down most of the time. Not sure what that analysis is worth, other than I would often give up on the river. After he...

Re: blind battle suckout

Checkraising does induce some incorrect folds by hands with no showdown value but let me ask you this. Would you rather get 2 bets in one at a time over one street against hands that you are ahead of...

Re: blind battle suckout

I'd much rather screwplay the turn than sexy the river. I think a decent part of his range is ace-high or hands that will check behind on the river.

Even though I just said I'd rather screwplay...

Re: JJ Turn Trouble

I can understand the limp, but disagree with it. I hate getting no action with my premium hands (something very different about NL than limit). I'd raise the first time around, and after he raises I...

Re: KK, yo.

I think I like your check. You obviously wanted to get to SD cheap without too much action, here's your opportunity.

I don't think the value bet argument holds as much water since your hand is...
