Re: Bankroll Management Thoughts from the cheap seats. - long

How many hands have you played KyleFall? My last session I lost ten hands in a row on the river and went down 70 BB's putting me down 150 for the last 10k hands. Just keep playing, the game can be...

Re: There must be a better line... (TT shorthanded again)

Raise the flop for value/information, making your villains pay for any kind of draw they might be on -- or really you'll find out just how far behind you are here as well, probably. Since you didn't...

Re: I need some help with the microlimits

The plethora of poker books on the market, combined with the unlawful internet gambling blah blah have more or less killed games like this at the micros that SSH talks about. I've not really seen...

Re: KK vs possible quads, line?

This hand reminds me of the one I played recently and posted in the NC thread. I'd get as many bets as possible in on every street. Nice hand.

6 Tabling ? Are you sure that is + EV for you ?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes when it's FR, probably not when it's 6 max... though I don't have quite enough hands in to tell for sure, I try to do...

Re: AA facing raise on the river

Call it down, and update your notes on this player in this spot. Not much else you can really do imo.

Re: Turn/River line check.

Just based on the hands I saw out of him, I hadn't seen him betting his flush/OESD's often-if at all. My read wasn't too stellar, and yeah the range I put him on wasn't as good as it could've been....

Turn/River line check.

Villain is L-P -- though when he gets heads up in a pot I've seen him try to make some sneaky plays/bluffs in the past 30 minutes. Sorry if this post is a bit sloppy, I'm in the middle of a session...

Re: Hello, Micro-Limit Hold\'em!

Thanks for the input guys. I'll fix the n00b mistakes next time around. Results for this hand went better than expected--regardless, hands like this seem to be the difference from a winning session...

Re: Hello, Micro-Limit Hold\'em!

Assume your villain is:

1.) L-P

2.) TAG

3.) LAG

Are you able to lay this hand down in any of those situations? If not, what's your play and why? I find myself playing the same no matter...

Re: Smoking

Got a new job at age 20 or so, where everyone smoked but me. Coworkers kept giving me free cigs, and the habit caught on. Wheee.
