2/4 - Playing super weak in this 3bet pot

Villain is a 21/18 semiregular. He's raised the button a little over aggro and this is the first time I've 3bet.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars...

2/4 - Can\'t put villain on a hand range, so I call?

Villain is new to the table and stats show slightly LAG over a very small sample size, haven't seen him do anything tricky in his two orbits so far.

Re: 2/4 - real thin river push

[ QUOTE ]
I prefer pushing turn, i think he calls a lot lighter than on the river

[/ QUOTE ]

I like my turn check. If he has a set/JT I can avoid getting stacked on this fairly dry board and...

2/4 - real thin river push

Villain is Poly_Baller a very solid pseudo-LAG who's a regular in this game. We've played together plenty but not recently since I've taken some time off. My image is fairly solid at the table and...

2/4 - Facing the double c/r

First session back in about 3 weeks. Villain is Poly_Baller and is a regular 30/20 in the 2/4 game. I've 3bet him a few times in the session so far PF and he hasn't played back. He did take a half...

Re: Fall Fashions (and good deals on fashions!)

I have the unique problem of being 6'7'', 235 lbs and never having a single pair of pants fit me without tailoring. Most of my suits fit very well after tailoring especially with an athletic look,...

Re: KK on Axx board vs tag oop

No self respecting TAG is playing a 4bet pot preflop, then checking two streets and firing a half pot river with a set. He cannot have AA and QQ seems just as unlikely IMO.

Re: KK on Axx board vs tag oop

This is a call on the river. AK and AQ are both value betting the turn more often than not after checking flop. He could be value betting a lower Ax on the river, but you have to discount that he's...

Re: Official Stars Regulars Thread

I think Vaesolis is good but he has given me waaay to much action relative to how nitty I've gotten lately.

Does anyone else have me (JrJordan 2/4) going nitty except for my PTDB?

Re: Rivered trips, I\'m not sure...

The guy min-limp reraised you preflop for gods sake. He could be slowplaying QQ-AA here based on that info alone. Such an easy call.

2/4 - 3betting TP2K for fun and profit

Don't have the hand history so bare with me.

Hero ($400) opens $14 UTG with KxQx, folds to button ($covers) who calls and blinds fold. Button is fairly TAG 20/18 over a decent range but I don't...

If there was ever a time... 2/4

Hero is in SB with KcKs and relevant stacks are $400. Solid regular TAG 22/16 opens button to $13, I 3bet $50, BB 4bets to $150, Button folds. Just sat in on this session but stats show he's 22/4...

Re: 2-4 HU DEEP w/ KK oop

I mean he can only have 94 hands where he has a 5, shouldn't we wait for a better spot?

[/ QUOTE ]

So we're only getting it all in with trips or better on dry boards while playing...

Re: 2-4 HU DEEP w/ KK oop

He's not firing a second barrel on this dry board. Basically a call and 3bet both rep the same range, so might as well do the one that makes you the most money.

Re: transition to 2-4nl 20k hand stat checkup

They're messing with you. The stats look fine IMO. That being said they're nearly irrelevant in the games these days so start looking elsewhere for ways to improve (re: post hands).

Re: Playing to weak?

Getting over 2.5:1 in a blind battle with an underrepped overpair, I need to pay it off but I'm not thrilled about it. Also, the flush never hit so he could be 3-barreling on such hopes. Yeah he's...

Re: I need Feedback on these 2 hands please.

Reraise hand 1 PF. Given preflop, make a real raise on the flop to 80.

Hand 2 is fine.

Don't post results and use a hand converter if you want more responses.

Re: 1000nl - turn line check (warning: possibly standard)

I don't think you're getting more than one street of value from hands you beat, which is basically AQ and maybe KQ if he'll cold call your 3bet with it. Take the free card and call a non-absurd river...

2/4 - Really awkward line with top+bot

Villain is a good regular LAG running around 35/25 over 100 hands this session. He's 3-bet my button steals a few times to which I've generally folded. My image is somewhat laggy over a bunch of...

Re: flopped set vs strong villain line

There's so many draws you could represent by c/r'ing the flop. Get it in ASAP.

Given flop, its CRAI time on the turn.
