Re: 50k review 100nl

The obvious thing is that your going to showdown far too often, and you're probably defending your BB a little too much.

Re: NL 25. KK insta push?

He's playing micro limits and obviously asking a serious question. How about we just play nice together for a change?

Re: NL 25 Over + nut flush? Call or fold??

3-bet or call is fine pf.

You get more value at these stakes from the implied odds, although flush draws are always tougher to get paid on, but it's going to be less variance and slightly higher...

Re: 2/4 - Playing super weak in this 3bet pot

If you're 3-betting, then you should be betting this flop. Villians range, unless he just likes to donk float in 3-bet pots, is going to be pretty narrow on this flop. Now give me a break down on...

You have the third nuts, I'm never folding here for only 600 more.

Re: 2/4 NL tough spot with QQ

These guys will call with a wider range of worse hands, so it's a pretty easy shove. And I'd prefer to shove versus call against these opponents, even though you have position because of the first...

Re: Got a bounced check from Absolute Poker

Well, here's a PM I got from someone (I'm not going to give names). Perhaps it adds more insight into what's going on.

"I got a check from them last week that is having trouble. My bank took the...

Re: Got a bounced check from Absolute Poker

[ QUOTE ]
If a rogue poker room, casino or sportsbook ever bounces you a check again then you might want to wait until you have been paid or it looks hopeless before you post stuff like this. This...

Re: Got a bounced check from Absolute Poker

[ QUOTE ]
I'll give OP the benefit of the doubt that this is 100% true.

>> WOW .. I would not keep a penny on absolute

It's sad but true. That's why I'm asking if anyone else...

Got a bounced check from Absolute Poker

So I've been playing a fair amount of chash games on Absolute for the past 6 months. I make a regular withdrawl about every 10 days. 2 weeks ago I made a standard withdrawl of about 2.5k (via check),...

Strange KK hand

UTG is a fishcake. I don't have his stats handy, but he's pretty bad. I think he's limping with a big pair or Ax and was hoping that the CO would raise (CO was 40/25) and he was trying to run over...

Re: Video coaching vs. hiring a personal coach?

In a nutshell, there's really no comparison.

You can read all the books, and watch all the videos, but until you have someone that can personally work with YOU based on your personal strengths...

Re: QQ in 3b pot checkup

[ QUOTE ]
For sure call, although you do see KK/AX where x=2-J a lot.

[/ QUOTE ]

I honestly don't know the answer, so I'm going to ask of course. How often does someone who is a 22/14 3-bet...

i thought that any1 with knowledge of basic poker theory would know why, but here it goes- Any raise folds out all worse hands and better hands continue, plus by just calling we are very...

Good, but try putting a reason next time, otherwise your post isn't very helpful.

Re: QQ in 3b pot checkup

Make a small turn raise. Either he has trip aces, or he's running scared. You can easily rep the A as played, and I don't think your hand has any showdown value if he bets the river.

As played,...

Re: overbet wtf

Pretty easy fold.

But I tend to fold pre-flop. I don't like to play hands that have bad reverse implied odds sandwiched in a raised pot. And I also tend to just lead into the pre-flop raiser on...

Re: 200NL: river decision

Why did you check the turn, and what was your plan?

With an aggressive villian, I like the turn check, as you'll induce a lot of river bluffs, and you an control the size of the pot. Against...

Re: 100k hands.... open for inspection/selection/detection/interjection

Hire a coach... like me... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Really good coaches will know how to understand what kind of glasses you're seeing poker through, and can highlight your leaks/weakness, and...

Re: 2/4NL Hand from a coaching session

Are you having trouble with this hand because you want to know if you should bet the turn? Not sure what the confusion really is. He's passive, and it's a pretty bad turn card for you. You beat...

Re: Preflop decision with ladies against hachem

Joe is pretty goofy and bad as you know at online cash games (especially when he's been drinking), but I'm letting this one go. I can't really count on the side pot as overlay, so you're probably...
