Re: How agro do u play your AK?

I personally call down after his turn raise. Dunno if a 3-bet accomplishes too much.

Re: Do I have enough odds to call for just a BDSD and a BDFD

1.5 for the BDFD, slightly less than 1.5 for the BDSD. Counting only a bit less than three outs, this looks like a pretty easy fold.

Re: TPBK

I like raising this. We're ahead of a good percentage of villain's preflop range (I stoved 88+,ATs+,KTs+,QJs+,AJo+,KQo). Raising might get BB to fold a draw or a slightly stronger king and gets us...

Re: River Rot

Three bet the turn. UTG+1's check/raise a bit scary, but he could have easily been trying to slowplay the flop with a set or two pair. You have the second nuts. Keep raising.

Call the river,...

Re: MPTK from SB Heads UP

Yeah, the river is a very, very easy fold. There's four to a straight, three to a flush, and an overcard on the board. You don't beat anything right now unless BB has been bluffing the whole way...

Re: Did I miss a value reraise on the turn?

[ QUOTE ]
I am not being argumentative here, not there (pokerwise) yet. I had an exit strategy if any strength was shown on flop, but I didn't see any. Then the turn gives me a 15 outer. Should I...

Re: Did I miss a value reraise on the turn?

You misplayed the flop and you took a kinda weird turn line. A difficult turn decision would not have occured if you had just folded the flop. Sure, you saw the turn and played it kinda badly, but...

Re: Getting full value

Well, uh, you played pre-flop alright.

Raise flop for value and maybe to protect against gutshots.
Raise turn for value.
Re-raise river for value.

Don't assume the worst.

Re: Did I miss a value reraise on the turn?

[ QUOTE ]
i understand the pf fold thoughts, but i was c/f any flop raise and c/f the turn unless it really helped me. Obvilusly it was the best card I could get. Does the fact that I'm 2:1 to...

Re: Did I miss a value reraise on the turn?

Egh, does anyone else fold on the flop? We're getting 16.4:1 odds, but we only have a flush and straight back door draw. Peeling one here might not be the best idea.

Considering you did call the...

Re: FD from BB; Virtually No Highcard Strength

Grunch time!

Preflop is obviously fine.

Flop, eh, seems kinda spewy. I don't mind a bet on the flop, but just call MP2's raise. You and him are the only people in the pot. You really don't...

Re: TPMK

Yeah, you're really only ahead of JJ or QQ once the river hits. Maybe 99.

I might donk the flop and have the button do the raising for me so MP1 gets knocked out, but I'm not impartial to...

Re: TPWK w/ 2nd Nut Flush Draw; Turn ?

Everything looks pretty standard here.

Flop bet is geat, since, as you put it, you have TPWK with a great flush draw. No matter how many opponents you have, a bet is for value on this board.

Re: When to stop with KK.

[ QUOTE ]
I would still call here. That pot is enormous and you got a maniac playing. Also the board is perfect for a flush draw/possible straight draw. The aggressive betting of BB and MP2 before...

Re: 99

Oof, I definitely don't fold this turn. Don't assume the worst and think UTG+2 holds two hearts. If you're behind and he doesn't have two hearts, you have a plethora of cards you can hit to regain...

Re: AA, River Action?

Yeah, a raise is pretty needed. Odds are, the BB doesn't have a 9 since he didn't show any flop or turn aggression. The most likely scenario is that he caught his king on the river.

Re: When to stop with KK.

I actually was thinking between a call or a raise since the maniac would usually be free money, usually only holding a pair of jacks and overplaying it. I did have to worry about the BB, so I think...

Re: Too far with TPTK?

Cap the flop. Your equity edge is amazingly huge and even if you don't have the best hand, you have the nut flush draw to rely on. The cap is for value. After the cap, lead the turn. If you get...

When to stop with KK.

Notes: MP2 is very, very loose preflop and overplays his hands postflop aggressively. I've also seen him cold calling a lot with any two suited cards preflop, like 53s and J4s. Since he cold calls...

Re: ATo in the SB

Hero easily folds on the flop. It's a 3 SB pot. UTG+1 seems very tight and probably has something worth betting the flop with.

Also, I'll usually raise pre-flop here.

Re: TT in capped pot

I'll probably go ahead and just cap it myself preflop, but otherwise I like the line you took.

Re: mod updates

Yeah, the link for the PokerStars card mod is down for me too, unfortunately. Is there any chance someone can mirror this?
