Re: i decide to get frisky on the turn...

i'm discounting against two pair + hands cause all of those would raise the flop in all likelihood... and i'm pretty sure this is either A)FSD with a medium K or a decent 8 or B)semi-bluff with some...

Re: It starts in my toes, and I cringle my nose, and smack down the ho

i personally don't like it... you're investing 2bb's in a bluff when folding would definately be better.... if it was close to a call, i wouldn't mind raising but that would depend on how loose her...

Re: Turn decision #2

i would bet turn as played but this is a spot where i check the flop and see the action behind me before i commit a lot of chips because it puts you in spots like this...

i would bet the whole way...

Re: October Low-Content Thread

"I was playing Saturday when this happened:

The final board was A63A6

I'm first and say "jack high!" and table J10.

Villian tables 44 and I idiotically turn my hand back over.

The dealer...

Re: scare card for me or him?

i don't understand what hands could get to the river and possibly bluff this? isn't calling by far the worst option?

Re: scare card for me or him?

i actually think he's b/f'ing a lot of hands in his range that he plays like this.. think about it.. what hands are you b/c'ing here with? i think a flush draw or monster shows up way before hand...

late night borg 40...

i've only been at the table for a few orbits... villian has been playing pretty loose but he plays well in general, can fold in some obvious spots and doesn't miss value all...

Re: Raised on a seemingly blank river

67d also gets there fwiw...

Re: Opening from SB with weak holding

i wouldn't have c/r the flop unless you knew exactly what to do on the river should something like that come out...

if he would indeed bet those hands then i would call.. but it'd be pretty hard...

Re: I can only beat myself

he is absolutely calling any 4bet after he 3bet and there's tons of scare cards a small flush or a straight may not bet at the end... you miss at least 1-4bb by just calling a 3b here...

and with...

Re: 20/40 foxwoods, basic checkup

something like a c/c, c/c, b/f line is ok imo if...

Re: $40/$80 free showdown raise spot?

i probably would not go for a fsd here unless he's the type who won't bluff the river after he misses a flush...

i think if you change your hand to 44,55 it would be better for a fsd but probably...
