Re: [2/4] Live at Foxwoods: AJo playalong CONCLUSION

That's awesome man, classic 2/4 at the Woods. I've played many hours there and know that feeling. They flip over the cards and you go....HUH? Sweet! And I did enjoy the playalong.

Re: The hand that sunk me very deep in FT 109 short handed

Well if that's your mindset, then there's nothing wrong at all here. That was your dream scenario, he made his bluff so now you call it. The problem is you really don't know what he's doing. The...

Re: FTP 90 person tourney hand read

I don't know where the stack sizes went, that's odd. I did have JJ and that's why I asked. To me it looked blatantly obvious, but I thought a queen would still pay me off here. Villian ended up...

Crazy All In on Final Table Flop

Is this some kind of online play that you guys see often? What kind of hands would you put this raiser and caller on?
I didn't know what to think at all.

Full Tilt Poker

Re: flopping a nut flush on the button

Cornell's got it nailed. If nobody has anything, then nobody's playing. But if someone's "trapping" with a king high flush or has a draw to that big flush, they'll probably come along for a ride,...

Re: Most difficult play money tables.

Actually, there may be a seperate section for Bugsy's Club if I recall now. Make sure you sign up for that one because it allows you to play in all their freeroll tournaments.

Re: Most difficult play money tables.

There's a great site for this man. PokerPages.com they have freeroll tournaments that people will be playing semi-real because even though they are freerolls, you win either Bugsy Bonus Points,...

FTP 90 person tourney hand read

I'd like to see what you guys think I was playing and what villian was playing in this scenario. I have no pokertracker, but I'd seen 17% of flops at this point in tourney.

Full Tilt Poker

Re: Which form of poker is the most mathematical?

I firmly believe limit poker to be the most mathematical in terms of how important math is to making the "correct" play. In limit it's all about expressed and implied odds with a little bit of what...

Re: TT reraised allin

What a nasty spot to be in, but he is a short stack and could be making a move. You're only behind JJ or better, and I can easily see this being Ax. You're still a ways away from the prizes so you...

FTP Tourney Hand Convertors

What hand history convertor works with FTP? I only found legopoker so far to even accept FTP, but that only does cash games.

Re: The hand that sunk me very deep in FT 109 short handed

That's the problem with checking the flop. Now we sit on the river with no real idea where we stand. Did he bet the turn because he has solid value with a king? Or did he bet the turn because you...

Re: This is an easy push right?

With our actual M at about 4, compounded by the fact that the table only has 5 players, we don't have too many hands before we have to do something. It seems this is not the spot though. There's...

Re: JJ PF play

I'm fighting between telling you to re-raise to 2500 and to push. There's 1500 in the pot, so picking this up will increase your chips by 25% (Good for pushing). Your actual hand, JJ, is a dog only...

Re: This is an easy push right?

I would want a better spot given the fact 100% of player to act before you have entered the pot. I want a spot where I think a push has a good chance to take the blinds and antes when I'm...

Re: This hand made me feel weak

So this tourny allows you to show up late without getting blinded away? Show up even later next time, like when it's heads up already, sit down and get a nice 3rd place payday, lol. Okay on to the...

Re: 25NL Top Two Pair Push

Def need to deny flush draw the odds with a bigger bet on the flop, then the push on turn is good.

Re: No reads, is this too weak?

I'm curious if you're willing to fold to a raise, then why bet the flop so hard? If you're going to let this go to resistance, then don't commit quite so many chips with the probe and save yourself...

Re: NL50 - JJ - standard fold?

I think a c-bet is worthwhile on this flop. It's heads up and he's likely to give you credit for hitting this flop. If he puts up resistance, well you just have to let it go, which you did. I like...

Re: 25NL AQ Top Pair.

I like the play, he'd prob re-raise with an AK so unless he spiked a river 9, it looks like you're giving him enough rope to hang himself.
