Re: Good fold? TPTK 3-way Pot

Well if you are not afraid of MP then you played the hand very good imo. Raised preflop (although i like a little bigger raise PF), then bet the flop and called because of the pot odds.
And on the...

Re: QQ on turn facing odd bet

It depends of his AF. If he is some kind of 16/11/5 and plays aggresivly his draws you can consider calling. But there is not much you can beat other than a FD.
He may have called you with QT on...

Re: Is this a good spot to 2nd barrel?

[ QUOTE ]
It totally depends on your read on BB and his/her read on you. If BB is loose, then it will probably work.

[/ QUOTE ]
Why if he is loose it will work?
If he is loose he will call...

Re: Is this a good spot to 2nd barrel?

I think is a good spot too, he may just be floating and a 2nd barrel will do it.

Re: NL 25- JJ; OK Spot to Get It In?

He is IP and he could of called even wit a hand like 78 or 75. The range you attributed him is not wide at all.
But what AF has? If he is aggresive and bets/raises his draws, is a close decision...

Re: couple of v.basic hands, sanity check

Re: NL50: River gives set, fold?

Practically there is only one hand besides another the set that beats you. (he would have to be a donkey if he had a set and played it like this). So just a 46 beats you. He can either have a T2 or a...

Re: 25NL : AKo with TPTK on flop, but gets 3-betted.

I think is too much the raise to 6$ on the flop, 4-5 will do the job. As maunzekater said, if he 3bets you, you are out.
And preflop raise to at least 1.2$.

Re: Another awkward spot for AK

[ QUOTE ]
Call or you cand easily fold to his bet if you are a more conservative player. If you dont get a Backdoor flush or an ace or king fold to a turn bet.

[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry I didnt see that...

Re: WTF does it means ?

Against the range: Acx, kj, 55 you have more than 45% equity so you have to call.
Given the fact that he is SS too it makes the call more easier.

Re: AK vs a 90 VP$P sounds like fun huh!!

With this guy a shove on the flop is the best play imo.
With another player i would just call it.

Re: call, raise or shove? why?

I dont like the preflop play. Call the bb and then call a raise oop with 85s is just bad play.
You have a FD and 2 overcards, i will raise to 10-12$ to have FE. If he reraises AI I will instantly...

Re: 50NL - QQ overpair on turn

The scare cards A,K and diamond that you mentioned will appear in 25% of cases on the river. So in 75% you will likely have him beat if you had him beat on the turn also. I think is too weak to check...

Re: NL50 BB with AQs facing raise from MP

The good part about reraising preflop is that it will give you good information about his hand. If he 4bets allin you can easily fold. If you get called he will have AQs+ TT+.
So lead bet on the...

Re: 50nl TT 190BB deep; I need help!

I would stop betting on the turn, you got called by 2 villains on a such coordinated flop, it's time to slow it down. One of them could have A5,56, a set, 2 pair are unlikely here.
Maybe not betting...

Re: ak suited under the gun k high flop line check

Without information on villain is hard to make a decision here. Bet more on the flop and call the turn, if he fires on the river again you will have to fold it.

Re: 25NL: QQ, c/r by passive player

since the actual turn really skewed the hand for discussion, would it generally be a fold if a blank hits and he makes a decent size bet?

Re: Paired River w/ 2nd NF - Gets CR

If you just call the flop bet you dont know where you are at.
Raise for info/value on the flop. Mostly for info because you dont have many hands beat that will call your raise, only jj or tt. AQs...

Re: Aces 3way = Time to fold\'em in hold\'em?

At first look my first opinion was to fold but i think the pot odds of 3 to 1 are good for a call here. There are so many draws and he could also have AJ.
