"Callers range?" - What do you know about him so far?

[/ QUOTE ]

I just got to the table so I don't have any reads

What are you worried about with this flop?

AQ utg with an M of 8 - Stars $150

Stars $150. I'm new to the table, so no reads.

1. Do you play this pre-flop with this stack?

2. If so, what is your line pre-flop and on this flop based on the callers range?

Sorry no...

Re: Best play vs. LAG? - FT of 20/180

The part of the read that makes me even question shoving is that he knows people are playing back, is possibly frustrated and is still coming in for a raise in earlish/middle position.

Best play vs. LAG? - FT of 20/180

Final table of a 20/180. Villian has been very active and is capable of firing on both streets - even after being raised on the flop (his AJ bluffed my AQ on a dry board at the previous table). ...

Re: Early in WSOP Event #25 - Best line with a set?

[ QUOTE ]
I kinda hate your underbet on the flop. Think about the hands that you believe would call your 200 chip bet (KQ/KJ/97/99-QQ...) they are all calling for 350 too and, if anything, 350...

Early in WSOP Event #25 - Best line with a set?

Early on I felt I got bet out of a few pots and it looked like I may have been playing passive. The villian in this hand maybe saw a couple of those, but he was late to the table so I'm not sure how...

Tough spot with QQ

20/180, 23 left

PIMP1111 has been pretty tight and the hand before, he raised to 1600 on the button and pushed when I re-stole from the BB (my first time re-stealing and my image was definitely...

Re: Need some quick math help

Ah, okay. That makes sense. If PokerStove is already making those calculations, what is the best way to assign a confidence level?

Need some quick math help

I'm going through a hand with a friend and I'm assigning a percentage to certain ranges of hands to figure out his % vs. villian's total range.

Am I doing this right?

60% of the time, he has...

Re: Two Tens facing an open shove (Stars 100k)

Yep. This is JJ/AK so often. Scared to play a flop.

How\'s my line? Nut draw with overs

I recently changed gears and have bet/raised the last 3 out of 7 hands with no showdown. Villian has made some loose calls pre-flop, but is relatively straight forward post flop. In general the...

So the only arguments in favour of structure mattering is that in fast structures you have to take -EV spots or in slow structures you should pass up +EV spots. I think there are spots...

Re: Tilt $150, that classic everyone loves, the limp reraise all in

You are also in the BB and he's a limper. He can be putting you on a steal and is making an ego play here.

This is a small pair often or QJ+.

Re: KK (with re-draw) vs. a possible made straight or flush

I'd probably check shove there, with that read.

Re: KK (with re-draw) vs. a possible made straight or flush

We're not at all worried he just made a flush? I obviously don't want to fear MUTB, but it seems pretty consistent with his previous willingness to chase.

Is check/shove designed to get him to...

KK (with re-draw) vs. a possible made straight or flush

20/180 - Villian is a loose donk who has called large raises and cold called re-raises with very vulnerable hands (i.e. KQs) and will chase a draw. Doesn't mean he necessarily has one here, but his...

Re: Interesting Draw with situational questions

The pot calculation is wrong above. There were 75 antes, so pot should be 5325. Also, there are 13 left, so ITM.

The problem with crai is that we don't really have that much fold equity unless...

Re: A-rag good here?

Here's a similar range I used before.

Hand 0: 53.221% { 22+, A2s+, K7s+, Q8s+, J8s+, T8s+, 98s, A2o+, K7o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o }

Hand 1: 46.779% { Ac5d }

4000 in the pot and it would be 3000...

Re: A-rag good here?

I realized after I posted this how rediculously simple this is. I sent it to a few friends who thought it might be a close decision, so I just needed a sanity check.
