My reason for raising 3rd is in case I hit a A on 4th. Unless someone catches real good the hand is over. This way you collect 2 or 3 more bets on 3rd...

As others have said I think it's worth a call but not a raise. When a low hit's the board on the flop even though you hit trips your in protective mode. The Q helps but the 7 kills...
