Re: 40/80, TT, what to do?

I've played with her a few times before, and while she struck me as a generally ok player, I dunno...does a solid TAG cold call preflop in that spot? It would be very rare for me to flat call in her...

Re: 60 120 live comm

Turn call is easy. Calling the river if he bets again is the tougher decision, but you should probably call it since the turn was a nice semibluffing card.

No need to overthink this one, bet the turn.

Re: 20/40 I\'m a Payoff Machine

Your line is fine until the river where you can fold against most players.

Re: Mini-poll

Another note on 3-betting the flop in hand 1, you really aren't giving up much if anything by raising back there.

Like Sucker mentioned, if you need at least AK to reraise there then good players...

Re: Live 20/40 Two river check-raise attempts…

Hand 1: I like. I may have jammed the flop anyway though.

Hand 2: Yes, this prob works with the player you described. However, some are reluctant to value bet with 4 to a straight on board even...

Re: Bizarre river raise

Hard to believe he wouldn't raise w/ a set before the river, or a flush for that matter, and you beat most flushes.

I 3-bet this river.

Re: Live 20/40 Gar vs. Pro Part 3

Preflop is pretty marginal, folding is better there.

Heads up and I'm betting this river for sure. But you are still 3-way, and it's a little thin since there is a decent chance somebody has an...

Re: Bay 101, 40 game, best river line?

I've played a lot with Scott, bet the river here. You can probably fold to a raise too.

Also, I know you were trying to thwart the free card raise here (which Scott is very capable of) by going...

Re: Should this have been a bet/fold situation?

The river is a must bet. What to do if you get raised is highly player dependent.

Re: 40/80 live. Raised on turn by a passive player...

Against the player you describe I'd probably call it down.

Re: hand vs. CDC

Normally i'd just 3-bet preflop. As played, you really missed a dark raise after CDC dark bet the flop.

Re: top pair checkup

River value bet is prob too thin, otherwise well played.

Re: a pair of 40/80 bb hands

Hand 1: Fold preflop. Fold flop.

Hand 2: 3-bet, take a free card if you don't improve.

Re: Turn 3bet semibluff.

I agree w/ Tiger here, the turn 3-bet is spewy, taking a free card there is prob best.

When he 3-bets preflop and then checks flop, his range is usually monster or overcards. If he wasn't already...

This hand perfectly delineates the difference between online and live.

This board is a call down online against your average villain and a fold against your average live one.

Re: Live 1/2 multiway OOP TPTK

Not sure about preflop, ATs sure, but ATo is not the kind of hand I want OOP in a 6-way pot. Anyone else like a fold pre?

Turn is a horrible card for you, I think you can check fold.

Re: 88 vs. 100% vpip player and unkown

If you are going to continue with the hand I think raising the flop is the play, don't really like a call there. Continuing past the flop is debatable though, and depends heavily on who was in the BB.

Re: 20/40 shorthanded, turn spot

Assume you have the best hand and play accordingly, i.e. 3-bets.
