Re: NL25 KK

[ QUOTE ]
EVERYONE

What hand could we possibly have which would 4bet then check this flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

Most of the range is AA/KK/AK but at NL25 I would still put QQ/JJ in there (QQ at...

There's just too many assumptions around the check argument for me. He could have a myriad of hands, given the fact he's a hyper-aggro given the stats (granted, probably a smaller sample...

If he has no idea of pot odds, he also probably doesn't know anything about reads, either. How do you know he puts you on KK if you're playing against the donk of the century? There's too...

Re: NL25 KK

[ QUOTE ]
You win the pot 100% of the time if he folds. You lose the pot, let's say, 70% of the time if he pushes and you call. He's pushing 100% of the time if you check, and you can't make an EV...

Re: NL25 KK

[ QUOTE ]
I said push and pray. There's two whole cards in the deck that will convince us that we're strong enough to call/bet if we check this flop. You're basically folding a 3/1 pot if you're...

Re: NL25 KK

definitely agree with milky, one of your main aims is to make your opponents make mistakes..by pushing you don't allow him to make the mistake (by pushing worse hands) whereas the check allows him...

I call pf for set value.

As played, I c/f. TT is not a strong hand on this board 4way. The pot is too big to bet/fold here. You are slightly ahead/way behind and if you...

Raise preflop is fine I guess, but vs an unknown UTG raiser I'd be wairy, but as he flatcalles against 2 earlier flatcallers OOP, i guess he is not holding a monster. The one most likely...

Re: one of the weirdest hands i\'ve played in a while

Although the raise utg is pretty strong I agree with op here isolating and buying position - also helps narrow his range a lot.

With the flop being 4-way I dont think you have nearly enough...

with those stats villain is way loose and aggro so it its close to a shove here, but with small sample size folding might be the right play because of his smaller stack size not giving you the right...

Re: QQ, checkraised on turn

The way the villain has played this hand is typical of how players at 25NL play v. strong hands - check/call flop , check/raise turn so I think we definitely put him on a hand here..

Seems like...

I really don't get why your calling the flop there and then folding to a blank on the turn..probably shove/fold turn here depending on villain(?)
