Re: a frush against morons

I like raising the flop in position in a multiway pot with 2 overcards and a flush draw.

Re: a frush against morons

Calling and going for the overcall from BB probably nets you the same as 3-betting, since BB will most likely then fold if you 3-bet. This also has the benefit of not getting capped by CO if you are...

Re: when to let up with a set?

Some morons play KK/QQ like that preflop, either because they want to make sure no overcard comes, or they think they're slowplaying/being tricky. But KQ looks likely, too.

BB obviously is being...

Re: MORE POLLS

Looks like I'm one of the few who voted raise if the call button is broken. I voted call in the original poll because this could be a bluff or a smaller PP. That's still true, and if our call...

Re: A bad spot to free showdown?

I usually just call down from the flop. I usually don't raise at any point in the hand.

This is a perfect spot for WA/WB. If he has a big ace, you have him reverse dominated, and he's drawing to...

Re: 33 spew or standard?

If I was villain I would fold A-high on that river. So I think this is a case where, if you get called, you lose. Was it supposed to be a value bet, or a bluff?

Re: Two Pair 3 way

If you're calling on the flop hoping to improve to 2-pair or trips, then fold the flop, since you don't have odds for that. If you're calling because you think there's a chance you're best, then...

Re: Full Tilt 6max .25-.50 best river line

I agree that small PPs are a big part of his range, and now I'm thinking maybe a bet here might be better. We need to be good at least 50% of the time when we're called for a bet to be profitable. ...

Re: Full Tilt 6max .25-.50 best river line

I check behind. If the river had been another J instead, then I'd bet.

Re: standard river spot with 66

I think he'll value bet his AK/AQ hands, and any pair, thinking you're calling down with a weak A-high. He might even fire again with KQ thinking he might get you to fold A-high. I think c/c is...

Re: Official SSSH LC/NC Thread for November!

Yeah but the only thing that really matters is how much rake is taken out of pots you actually win. Who cares how much everyone else is paying? On the general tab in PT, under the Total Rake...

I'd c/r the flop the force out UTG.

River Clarkmeister is meh, I think villain already has you beat on the turn, or has a heart in his hand a high percentage of the time when he bets the turn into...

Re: .25-.50 6max - fold river?

And you'll see small pocket pairs value betting against your "obvious" AK.

Re: Value bet this river? - 55

For a value bet to be correct, we need to be good at least 50% of the time when called. I will guess villain will call with any pair, and A-high. So a quick stove:

Board: Qc 6s 4h 8d 6h

Re: Continuationbetting

Hand 1 I check. You're never taking it down right there, and it's unlikely J-high is the best hand. I take the free card, and fold UI.

Hand 2 depends on how tight your opponents are. In my...

Re: Did I play this too aggressively?

Given your description, that you have a maniac image, no one is going to fold a better hand to your turn 3-bet I think, except maybe K-high or A-high. So you should just call the turn raise.
