We are on the brink...

Re: Investing Beginner

Stay away from the rich dad poor dad bs, just get a decent fundamental book about the markets. I would say the best book for a total beginner is still "The Intelligent Investor" by graham.

3 betting the flop is terrible here and if villain is remotely sane you are only getting called by hands that you are behind. Just call him down. I might vbet river. obv. fold...

Re: NL 50: check my sanity. this an easy fold?

you must be kidding me - you are trying to say you should bet bigger so he folds the hands you beat instead of putting more money in the pot with them?

Re: I\'m back, and WORSE THAN EVER! 4-bet preflop Questions

I generally only 4-bet in certain situations as its so easy to stack people if you just call a 3-bet pf with AA,KK.

Re: 25NL, how to proceed?

fold turn. think about his range. your average guy at this level isnt double barreling much and his PFR is 10 so his range is pretty tight here.

Re: NL 50: check my sanity. this an easy fold?

Might 3 bet this flop, not entirely sure.

Other approach is to call and lead out a turn if it bricks.

That's what I originally thought, but how often do you see people trapping others like this at $50 NL? Maybe 1% of the time?

KK faces CRAI - Standard but somewhat instructive spot

25NL first orbit at table.

I raise KK utg to $1, full stacked villain 3-bets small to $2.85. I decide to call in position.

Flop: Jd 6h 3h.

Villain checks, I bet 3/4 of pot. Villain snap...
