Re: How is the 100-200 game in Bellagio?

The often overlooked element that you have to keep in mind when playing pretty high live limit holdem (Commerce/Bellag.) is the general chaotic atmosphere of these poker rooms. If you have not...

Re: in over my head

Just trying to understand things better:

Is the reason for c/f the flop because he most likely has you dominated w/Ax (x>7) or he hit the flop and you are drawing to 3 outs?

Also I'm...

This sucks.

I remember when I at least could talk a halfway decent game of limit Hold'Em.

These days, my mind has become so lazy and flabby from lack of play and competition that I read a decent thread like...

Re: What\'s the funniest 1-liner you\'ve heard after a hand?

My old italian buddy Don, from a game we used to have in the basement of a pizza place, in response to raising a strong hand early in a 7-stud game and driving everyone out . . .

Ok.

Sounds fun. I'll play you a few, but not online. If you are going to be in the Western NY/T-stone area anytime soon, let me know.

p.s. I assume you are talkin' LHE.

Sklansky/Brandi stuff . . . Am I just an old fuddy-duddy?

I realize that I haven't been playing/posting much as of recently, but I have to say that all this Brandi/Sklansky drame has gotten a bit out of hand.

There is no question that this site over...

Hey mods . . new locked forum idea for 2+2 . . .

I think the time has come for a 2+2 post Hall of Fame, with perhaps the 10-20 best posts of all time. This would have to be in there.

Re: largest win

Small beer compared to the top-tier guys, but $27,000 in a couple hours playing 1-2 shorthanded. Also, made over 10k on 3 successive nights playing shorthanded 30-60, one table.

Mini-trip report, the new poker room at T-Stone . . . .
