Re: 5/10 Live, Thin river call. How often am I good?

I'm curious as to why you'd consider shoving the river? I don't see any worse hands calling here.

I called and villain showed up with 3d4d here.... yep....

5/10 Live, Thin river call. How often am I good?

5/10 NL
Villain's to my immediate right, has been splashing, and has cb about 80% of flops he's been raising (dry boards or not)and is one of the bigger calling stations at the table.

Stacks are...

100 NL QQ any hands I beat here?

Villain is 32/13/1.3 over 100 hands. Stats would lead to believe he's donkish, however I've never seen him get out of line.

Does my turn check induce a bluff here? Would anybody expect to see...

Re: Advice re: Poker in VAN BC

Edgewater

Pros: Located in DT Vancouver, $4 rake.
Cons: Hard to get multiple games going. You would be lucky to find more than 1 2/5 NL game or 20/40 kill game going on any given weekday,...

Re: Buying mutual funds in Canada

Don't, unless you're putting the fund in a registered account (tax deferred obv.).

It's generally not fun to lose half of your low double digit fund return (ideally) to MERs, tax, and inflation....

Re: AKo $200 NL Stackadonk gone wrong...

Villain ended up with 33 here.

I know bet/fold turn seems like the best line... but recently I feel that I'm missing a lot of value by getting Ax off their hand with a decent sized turn bet in...

AKo $200 NL Stackadonk gone wrong...

Villain is 25/6/1 over 703 hands

Honestly I hadn't really observed his actions in too many previous hands so I decided to take the standard stackadonk line.

Should I have fired the turn and...

AJo $200 NL stack off here?

Villain is running 57/20/0.88 over 513 hands, and has raised the last 2 pots PF, taking one down PF, and the other on the flop IIRC.

3 bet PF? yay/nay given read?

NL $100 JJ push ok?

Villain is 17/11/1.8

Does his flop c/r represent a monster trying to get value or trying to get us off air with TP?

Does villain's small turn bet look like a blocker?

Shove or fold turn?

$0.5/$1.00 NL AQo Do i lose my stack here?

Re: 1/3/6 NL with tricky situation with trips

Looks like a fold

You're calling for a chop here. I wouldn't be surprised to find A9 suited here. Villian is most likely calling a push with any 9, and again you would be chopping the pot.

Re: AA minraised vs. unknown on paired board

[ QUOTE ]
I'd call and see what he does on the river. This is either a monster or a marginal hand trying to get to showdown as cheaply as possible.

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

wouldn't someone running 40/11 NOT raise poo like KhJh UTG. Seems like he would be limping much more often no?

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

call call call
40/11/3 makes me think that he's not raising small suited connecters UTG, the only flush you could be worried about is KhQh.

Villian looks like he's doing this with AA, or AxKh

Re: 99 vs. shorty

He's prob scared of the king and may call you down with JJ, QQ, AA. You're beating AQ here, and you won't get any value by betting.

Check turn, fold to river bet.

Re: JJ what do I do?

Being that he's short, and the fact that I don't see many villains with those stats min raising big pairs, i'm thinking you'll see a T or 89 here more than a 7 or big pair, and thus pushing would...

Re: Best room at Flamingo, or average room at Bellagio?

Flamingo GO rooms are great. Better than the MGM West Wing rooms, however I've never stayed at the B.

Hope this helps a little.
