Re: 44 on the button-Was the fold correct?

Well, you are correct in saying that you can't call here. Its too much of your stack and you don't hit often enough. However, I would probably push here. You don't say how often the original raiser...

Re: general 180 man playing strategy question

I think the best strategy is to not do this. Just raise a normal amount. Yes, sometimes you will lose a hand with AK when you get called by a few people and a 89T flop comes down, but it really...

Re: King-Ace

The answer is clearly slowplay. I haven't done the math, but I'm pretty sure you're like a 90% favorite pre-flop. It also lets you get away if someone raises, which clearly indicates AA or KK.

Re: Flop flush, now what?

If you're ever going to fold a flopped flush, this seems like the time to do it.

It would help a lot to have a hand history put through a hand converter here, it would let us see things like the antes and pot sizes and stack sizes.

I would bet this flop, there are a lot of...

Re: live $55+7 flopped flush in BB with 3 limpers

You need to get some chips pretty quickly it sounds like. Folding flushes is not a good way to get some chips. This could be lots of stuff, such as top pair or nut flush draw. I'm definitely calling....

Re: 10-10 - - good flop - - too many opponenets?

This seems like a call on the flop to me? I feel like raising doesn't accomplish much, I'd rather keep the pot small when its pretty unclear where you stand. I realize that you will have coming up on...
