I completely agree with what you are saying, but the potential doors that could be opened for me at UCLA plus the connections I can make there will be more than enough to supplant any social aspects...

Must have been difficult to transfer UC to UC. Way to go getting outta that hell hole called Irvine. I went to junior college to avoid going to UCI because I was denied at Ucla as a freshman.
