Re: It doesn\'t teach how to play no limit

Seriously, this is why I think only half of NLTP makes sense. It's helped my game quite a bit, but so much of it is incredibly subjective (If you THINK your opponent will call 70% of the time, then...

Re: Poker books

The poster sounds either like a very bad Borat impersonator or a "Kenyan" with an "inheritance" he wants to offload state side.

Poker tells and dating....

I've been wondering if it's easier to guess if you have any chance with a girl if you've got a good grasp of reading tells. I think so, but I'm uncertain at times though because of things that seem...

Re: Howard Lederer weight problem?

Kind of puzzling given that the man is a vegetarian and the rest of his family is far from huge.

Re: 16$ - 9 BB left, fold AQ first in?

Seven handed, and an M of 6, AQ is 90% better than the trash I've pushed with. Since the stacks are so close together, you can do one of two things:

1) Raise 3 BB to 600, hope everyone backs down....

Oh, and Joe Navarro's book. Some might disagree with this, but Caro's book sucks compared to this. And it helps with the ladies, too. No, seriously.

Re: Matt Lessinger - book of bluffs

If you can get is through Stars, it's a steal (600? 800 FPP?) Some of the examples given are absurd (getting someone to muck a set of Aces after making a very, very suspicious over bet or having a...

b) or he's...
