Re: NL100: overpair on paired board vs turndonk
[ QUOTE ]
the cbet should have been a little bigger, but other than that i think this hand was played well, with his aggression being so low i think you have to give him credit.

NL100: overpair on paired board vs turndonk
villain is 44/7/0.6 over 27 hands.
i know, my CB was too small. is turn fold too weak? his line looks so much like a 9... and he's a shortie, so call and reevaluate river makes no sense.

Re: Overpair, meet disgusting river.
i would push the turn.
as played: call the river. it's not really such an ugly river, but his line indicates that he has you beat. but call nontheless (pot odds way too good)

Re: NL50: river-minraise on paired board vs TPTK
@youngmachetes: why would you overbet this river? i like overbets, but here, i don't see any reason for overbetting...
in retrospective, i think i should have bet/folded the turn. as played, my...

Re: TPGK deep OOP 50max
i really don't like your line. preflop is ok (even tough i normally fold OOP) after the 2 coldcallers, but i wouldn't assume that your t-high kicker is good most of the time.
i absolutely don't...

Re: Turn two pair, gross river
against a stealer you should resteal. so 3bet preflop (the best possibility) or raise flop or raise turn. but just calling him down with bottom pair / worst kicker won't really help.
but in...

Re: NL25 KK on Ace and FD flop
what's his AF?
i think flop is fine, as long as he is passive.
i c/c a small bet on river and probably fold to a bet bigger than 2/3 pot. don't see value in a bet.

NL50: river-minraise on paired board vs TPTK
Villain is 50/6/0.3 over 32 hands.
villain insta-checked turn behind me.
a) do you bet/fold turn normally?
b) as played, do you call river getting 4:1?

Re: TPTK on drawy board - Should i fire turn??
if you raise the flop, make it potsize or a little less (2.5$ish).
if you fire again on turn, your commited. so push turn to look like a draw, but i personally like a check behind better.

Re: 25NL: Shove/fold here?
even tough his samplesize is really small, his stats look quite taggish and i can't see him limp/calling anything that beats us (maybe 55/77, but that's rather unlikely). at the same time, the board...
