PF Calling Range $1/2 live

When playing in $1/2 live, I find myself always afraid that without a premium holding that I easy could be dominated and that raising on the flop practically commits me (100-150bb stacks, PF raises...

Re: Best strategy for short blind tournamant structure

Spend some time in the STT forum and when you and most of the field have a M below 20, adopt a mid or high blind SNG strategy.

Try to not get below 7-10 BB, when you've got to shove with 78s or...

Re: Visiting Biloxi, need help...

If you're going to be around past monday the 26th, the WSOP Circuit Events are going to be at Harrah's New Orleans, and it's only an hour and 15 minute drive from the Beau.

Re: New Orleans WSOP Circuit Events

Casino rule, and it's a good thing as cash games are time raked and most players can't figure out it is their turn to act without music.

Re: $1/$2 NL Live -- Double Barrel Turn -- Reasonable Or Spew?

Don't like the turn bet. Aside from a gutshot wheel draw on the flop, what could he call you with that you beat, or that he may lay down to the turn bet. If he called PF with ace rag and on the...

Large live MTT vs poor players

I plan on playing in a either a $300 or $500 WSOP Circuit event at the end of the month and I am really unsure of what is the best way to approach it. I've been told that they bring about 500+...

Re: bankroll considerations (live $1-2 NL cash) which is best option h

Depending on where you play and your skill level, you'd have to run extremely bad to go through 10 max buyins at 1/2 live.

The rake plays a big factor in your decision, if there is a time rake,...

Best way to beat weak $1-2 live games

I've been doing very well playing $1-2 at my local casino as the players are downright awful, but I fear that I am leaving some money on the table and wonder how you guys would exploit these players....

Getting run over in home game

I've been playing in a home game twice a week for over a month now and of the 12+ regulars, all but except for one is a loose, calling station. Two players have been killing me, both are maniacs...

Did I play these hands wrong, and if so how?

I am UTG+1 with AA
1/2 NL live game.
Button is extremely loose, very agressive, and will not lay a hand down. BB is a medicore-bad player. Both players have me covered.

I raise UTG+1 to 8...

Re: Folding AKo Preflop

Villian 3bet AI PF against me while ago with AA and showed, so KK or AA could be a possible.

Even with a more normal blind structure, I was thinking it was a bad - marginal play, folding AK PF vs...

Re: Folding AKo Preflop

The blinds were moving to 400-800 then 500-1000 at 20 minute levles, so they are going up very quickly. I should have mentioned that in the OP.

Re: Folding AKo Preflop

I think it may have been a bad play because I'm leaving myself with an M around 10, only had to call 6800 into a 1150 pot, I felt it was nearly a flip, and since the average player's M is below 10 it...

I have a very tight image, t8000, and in EP get dealt
