Re: Am I ahead here ever?

I dont understand your plan at all in this hand. It seems like you called pre bc you were worried about him being UTG. If you flop top pair with AQ and these stack sizes, you should be willing to...

FT MTT SNG - AQs on whiffed flop

Villain is a little looser than he should be preflop, and folds a little too much post (unless he had just missed every flop he'd been in recently).

Button and BB liked to get involved in multiway...

Re: 2more ppl out then I am in the money. right play with AKo here?

I think that range is way too tight for MP2. You see AJ, AQ, smaller pairs here too. UTG only has 15k. Either way, its a push.

Re: 66 in BB to interesting villain

His raising frequency 5 or so times in about a half level seems to indicate a far wider range. I would include most broadway, and I think hes the type that doesnt fold a ton of hands preflop once...

Re: 66 in BB to interesting villain

Push with 30+ BB's seems like overkill. I folded, and felt fine about it. But here's what I started thinking about. Does it make any difference if its 77? 88?

66 in BB to interesting villain

Full tilt multitable SNG. about 25 left of 45. Villain has become aggressive in the last level, raising 4+BB's preflop and potting every flop. Hes probably done this in 4 out of 5 pots hes entered...

Re: ML200 TT overpair vs nit

I cant see too many hands that we beat, so fold is pretty good to me.

Re: nl 100, AKs, do I go broke?

why, bc four cards in the deck could be bad for us? I havent seen anyone give a typical 3 betting range for a .5 -$1 NL player yet.

I guess we lose to everything except AQ and AT, so I think this...

Re: 200nl Deep deep bluff

Is there a question here, or is this just an example of how to spew chips.

Re: $1-2 Live NLHE -tricky river on scary board.

I can see betting the flop, but this villain seemed to go for c/r with top pairs a good % of the time.

Is there more value in raising the turn in the long run, or smoothcalling and getting value...

$1-2 Live NLHE -tricky river on scary board.

Villain in this hand is pretty tricky/aggressive, but
not crazy. Loose preflop, selectively loose post flop.
Villain raises in early position to $7 (and has about $150
behind). I call on...

Re: 100NL AK rr pot

[ QUOTE ]
Am I the only one who wants to check behind on the flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would def. check the flop if I was considering folding to this raise. Bc JT is more likely in this spot than...

Re: 100NL: JJ calldown, how`s my line

5 handed, I think I 3bet pre, as JJ is a pretty big hand 5 handed. I would raise to extract value, not to gain information. If 4 bet, I would call ?% fold ?% depending on read, as your still deep...

Re: NL100 top two on complex board, turn play

I would fold Pre. But as played, without reads, I dont know if there is a better line.

Re: Hand from Borgata WPT

You have to be 21 to play poker at a casino, and hes not a woman, so let's hope hes not drunk after two beers.

Re: playing crap on the button

def. put in a big turn raise. 9h does not make very many hands, and absent reads, do the most straightforward thing.

Re: can u guys help me w these shorty spots?

Hand 1 depends on just how often the table calls with weak aces, and also how often it is folded around to you in mid position. I think most times its a push, although i could fold as well if I knew...

Re: Is it just me or is this a terrible final table

Its kind of tough to be entertaining when the best 3 players at the table go out 9th-7th. Well, maybe 3 out of 4.

Re: Bellagio $1080 Tourn - Early Chip Lead

If you're asking what to do if you "know" he has a flush draw, then I think thats pretty clear.

The question is, what are you doing raising to 1200 with AK if your going to fold to this bet on...
