Re: 99 raise or shove?

I would check for set value.

With 5 players in the hand flopping a set could as much as tripple you up. Shoving on the other hand will take down the pot most of the time, but MP2 could have a...

Depends on a few things;

Buy in of the tournament ($1 I call AJ, $50 I throw away AK)

Starting stacks in relation to the blinds
How fast the blinds increase

For the most part I throw away 10s...

Re: what is the impact with a rebuy and without a rebuy tournament ?

I like rebuys in the sense if you find a few fish on your table you can bust them repeatedly rather than just once.

The disadvantage is in order to be high in the chip rankings at the end of the...

Re: live £50 MTT AKo entire table limped.....

[ QUOTE ]
I didn't like the idea of a stop and go, because unless an a or k flops i have complete air have villian on a med PP if any of those pesky middle cards come out id be resigned to my fate....

Re: live £50 MTT AKo entire table limped.....

I like a shove instead of a raise PF

I think MP is playing 66 - 1010, calling for set value as jammy dodga said.

If we shove now were most likely flipping.

Assuming we stop and go we'll have...

Re: Donkey calling station

Fold PF.

I'd fold AQ here to a 10x raise here even if I had position, which in this case we dont.

As played fold on the flop.

I reckon theres a good chance villian has AA here, but then...

Re: When this happens I\'m lost.....

I think it's fine as played, but you need to fold after the CR.

Re: Turn a straight flush. Need more value.

I'd fold preflop in this situaion.

Failing that though call the flop. Bet 1/3rd to 2/3rds pot on the turn and then push the river. Although in this situation your not likely to get much value.

Re: AA in small stakes satelite

With the info you've given i'd Shove.

This close to the payout you have tons of FE. The villian would likely fold for the same reason you did here, thinking the short stacks will bust themselves...

Re: i have an ace!

Hand 1 fold preflop.

As played shove on the turn.

Hand 2 fold, you have no fold equity and are most likely beat with stacks of this size IMO.

Re: K-Q on CO

I'd fold or call PF. Far too likely were behind to raise PF.

As played, fold to the buttons reraise.

Re: $6 FO Party - Flopped top two

Sorry was in a rush to get somewhere and didn't have time (probably should have held of posting till now).

Preflop:-
I dont think she would limp UTG with a big PP (10s +) with those stack sizes....

Re: Early in a $1 tourny kk

Raise more PF, somewhere between 5 - 8BBs is fine (it's $1, you'll get called). Hand will be totally different from there, but on that board i'd get all the chips in.

As played easy call IMO.

Re: $5 MTT - shoving 20-bb with AQ or 88 vs 1 limper

I think you're losing a lot of value shoving preflop. Depending on the stage of the tournament i'd raise 3 - 5 BB's. Shoving is probably the right move if you're deep in the tournament and there is a...
