why would your default be to call flop and turn. you are calling river as well and stacking off on that board??

Hand 1: 2/4 6 max

UTG (covers my $380- regular tag) raises to 12. One loose cold caller ($250). I raise AQs. Both call. Flop is 4 A 4 r. Any reason to ever check this? If so, why and how often?
