Re: Hellmuth 27 Bluff Makes Matusow Fold KK

[ QUOTE ]
Definitely a sick bluff... but I dont fault Mike for folding on the river, he cant beat much. Not as bad a laydown as Ivey in season 3 against Brad Booth.

Good episode though. I...

[ QUOTE ]

Yes I could have raised more pre-flop, or on the flop, but I think the outcome would have...

Re: 10NL butchered AK hand.

check obviously, you missed the flop, you're oop and there are too many players in the pot, preflop seems fine to me.
I just take my loss and let the hand go

Re: Micro ($10NL, 6 max) - Starting out

give some hh's, people usually have problems when they start playing 6 max because they think everyone's trying to bluff.

Re: NL25 - TP Called down.

i usually check this on the river, pot is big enough for what's only a top pair good kicker hand, and you never know he might have been slowplaying or just hit his flush

Re: Turned second pair top kicker

smells like a K10 type of hand to me, aq is possible too.
I still like your play here, the pf reraise basicly forced you to play the hand the way you did

Re: Top two multi way pot

dont think he has a set. he would have raised preflop.
My guess is that the only thing that you have to be worried about is the straight. unfortunately for you 910 seems very likely in this case.

Re: How would you have played? Bet too less on the flop?

as played, give up on turn, try to get that free card.
if you really want to bluff the only thing you can do is try to get the money all in on the turn. You'll never be able to scare the villain...
