Re: Weekly PLO Game? Any Interest?
A tourney definitely is better as a learning experience (meaning you might actually learn something) than a micro cash game with a bunch of overrolled aggro monkeys. Perhaps that wasn't made clear. ...

Re: Weekly PLO Game? Any Interest?
2+2 cash games tend to quickly degenerate into aggro fests and little is learned. A tourney definitely is better, though you'd be learning something different than what you intended in the first...

Re: pl50 - good spot for AI???
I don't think enough people at these levels lay down the nut flush here to make it worthwhile.
So readless, check behind. You have a read?

Re: PLO50 - OK Gambol?
Against what range would it be profitable? Does he CR with air a lot? I'd just as soon fold and get his money later.

Re: AAxx NFD Small Pot Hand

Villain is 61/22 over small sample so I didnt want to build a pot pre.

Why not?
Nowhere in this hand does the villain have to make any hard decisions (and you can argue...

Re: Top set scary board turn spot
CR on the turn means getting it all in with this villain, who started with 80 BB.
I just bet. If villain isn't a nutjob, his action should tell you all you need to know.

Re: Folding OESD to OOP bettor?
[ QUOTE ]
I've got no backdoor draws, a very small wrap and its unraised, so investing OOP seems like the wrong play
[/ QUOTE ]
So what's to like? Just pitch it.

Re: PLO $100
I fold this preflop. You're going to have to hit the flop pretty damn hard to play Ac Qs 5c 3s profitably OOP. And your opponents will have to be the types that don't believe you could be holding the...

Re: Swings in omaha
Heh, I am opposite. It's really hard to tilt me in Omaha, I guess I've accepted the nuttiness. Whereas in HE I'll go off like a rocket.
You can drop four buy-ins pretty quick and it's not out of...

No! Why play aces at all if you do this? Worst case he's got a 12-card wrap and you're a...

Pot the flop. If he just calls the raise and the turn bricks (which the 6h pretty much is here), I'm making as large a turn bet as I can.

Re: Do I have to go broke here?
It's difficult to profit even from idiots playing that hand OOP to a raise. So no, you didn't have to go broke.
Fold preflop. Flop is OK. Turn, if you're going to bet, just pot it (or all-in if...
