Re: flop top trips UTG

I was thinking that he'd fold any worse hand than mine to a raise, and shove with any better hand (88, Q8, AQ). So I didn't see any value in betting or raising. I was actually thinking WA/WB like...

flop top two pair from BB

This is my first post to this forum. I've been playing online micro limit and live small-stakes limit for a while. Unfortunately, the big limit game around here is 5-10, so I am hoping to learn no...

Re: poker in Brantford , ON - Quick Trip report

What's the rake at 2-5? I can't imagine it's low enough for the game to be beatable longterm, though it is nice to get 5-8 per flop.

Also, what's rake/ time for higher limits, if anyone knows?

poker in Brantford , ON

I'm thinking about taking a week off at the end of the summer to go up to the casino in Brantford.

A couple months ago I played with a guy who spoke very highly of their poker room. I am mainly a...

I'm due for renewal of contract at cingular / AT&T and I'm looking at replacement phones. I'm not much into tech and I've always gone with the free...

Re: April Graphs!! LET\'S SEE THE HARD WORK

Haven't posted in ages but couldn't resist the chance for show and tell, and also to ask: is stars .25/.50 really this much easier than .50/1? Congrats to all on nice graphs and Miles, best wishes...

Sounds great. I'll look forward to participating.

If you play it right I bet there's a book deal down the line. I've seen very little in print on LHE hand reading, though maybe I am looking in...

Re: BB KK into a 3 way flop.. grumble!

grunch
without reads how can you put UTG+1 on an A?

BET FLOP, call a raise, and re evaluate on turn.

That being said, folding KK on the flop, you are a better man than I sir.
