10-25 PLO Standard?

3 handed Live 10-25 PLO. Fairly loose game before flop and solid post-flop. Lots of 50 dollar straddles and 200 preflop. I have only been there a few hours, but both villians are fairly good players....

Re: Folding the nuts in omaha?

Its NEVER a horrible play to go-in with the nuts, but in a multiway pot with a lot of action in front of you- sometimes a fold is prudent. I have folded the nuts several times. Just because you have...

Re: Put to a decision w/o out the nuts ....

Muck this for a raise pre-flop. Its a full ring game and not every hand is playable.

Since you didn't muck pre-flop, you can catch a nice flop and still get felted. After seeing this flop- I just...

Re: Flop top set OOP, how\'s my line?

You played this fine. You can't do anything other than get as much money in the middle. Ideally, you get 1 or 2 callers and you double or triple up.

Re: Topset + turned nut-fd ... straight possiple your line?

I probably just pot this on the turn- you have such a good hand that your never folding this for 100 big blinds. Maybe bet 30 or so if your mixing up your betting patterns to get both villians to...

Re: big AA hand deep

There is no fold equity after you pot bet the flop (you'd have 20 bucks left). I dunno about 3 betting preflop with that hand because theres not many safe flops and your 200 bb which is semi-deep....

Re: Awful, Awful river. Call/fold?

It would be a ballsy call to make. I probably fold this to the average player with no reads because 56xx is out there. Any set beats you.

Against a wild villian capable of bluffing- maybe you...

Re: Flopped underfull against strong player 400bbs... $2/$5

Trouble with mucking this on the flop (even with 2 opponents) is your folding the best hand 95% of the time. Your only really scared of T9xx and that is very unlikely because you have two 9's. In...

Re: basic 2-4 hand, raised on river

I do consider AAxx, KJxx, or AKxx as air. If he had a hand like that he is going to keep the pot as small as possible and just call your bet (if he thinks he has the best hand). He isn't going to...

Re: basic 2-4 hand, raised on river

[ QUOTE ]
Villain 3bet preflop. Not on the flop.
Villain didn't checkraise the river, he just raised it.
Calling a 'chunk of your stack' doesn't matter. This is cash, not tournament.

Not...

Re: basic 2-4 hand, raised on river

Really this is probably 70% fold 30% call. If someone check raises the river- he usually has the goods. If he was trying to bluff - he may have just bet the river. I definately would check and call...

Short stacked 10-25 Live... Do I bet this dry flop or not?

I dunno if I played this right or not. I just got cracked a few hands prior and lost a 1000 dollars, so I am definately short stacked with around 1300. Everyone covers me in this hand.

Dealt A...

Re: $2/$5 Flopped flush against a nit 300bbs deep

Really good laydown. Almost every omaha player goes broke here? Online nobody lays this down at similiar levels.

I can remember one time where I got caught in a situation like this, but I...

Re: laying down middle set semideep

The guy limps in with KKxx? Usually, at this level people aren't that tricky unless he is playing passive and limping in with everything.

I dont know- I would just go broke here at this level...

Re: Tricky river spot - 25/50 PLO

Raise the flop and bet the turn. If he is still around when the river hits- you have a tough decision.

I probably wouldn't believe him and would call the river. This could easily be QTxx with 2...

Re: Heads up Challenge. Aces in SB, Random hand in BB.

When your playing HU- almost everything is playable except for obvious trash like 3338. Its ok to raise with any 4 cards for the most part. AAxx is a good hand but the flop might make it junk too.

Re: HU 200BB pot with middle set?

I think pre-flop was good. You have a 2 big pair with straight/flush possibilities. 3 betting is fine.

Flop is basically where all the money went in. You have middle set, unless you can put him on...

Re: is this a fold?

You got a double flush draw and a gutshot straight draw for the nuts. He has the straight here almost everytime- but you have a great draw and your priced into calling. Definately call.

Re: Help me with this hand

Well, with as short stacked as villian is- don't bet that turn unless your going to call a re-raise. Villian could have AAxx or 6xxx. He could also have a 78xx or a flush draw. His range is big here...

Re: 10-20 PLO 4000 dollar pot. anyone play this different?

Here is what I was thinking. I thought he had some sort of a crazy straight flush draw along with a medium flush. Something like 5s6sQsX. Or maybe a set- so I figured i'd not fool around and just get...

10-20 PLO 4000 dollar pot. anyone play this different?

Heads up 10-20 at fulltilt. Its a 6 man table but only 2 players during this hand.

Hero has ~2900.
Villian has ~2000.

He just sat down 10 or 15 hands ago. I know aggressive players are on...

Re: Aces and flush draw on turn

If he is pushing here- its typically a 9Txx or a 45xx. Or it could be a set like it was here. I don't think felting this on the turn is a bad play at all. You got a nut draw and an overpair. If he...

Re: Deep-stacked flop decision

A case could be made for calling this and seeing a turn due to the size of the pot and implied odds. You got top pair with a gutshot and a medium flush draw. I think this is 70% fold and 30% call...
