Re: **Official uNL/SSNL Coaching Thread**

I've used Bob Ciaffone because I liked some of his books.

The way he likes to work is that you send him hand histories with questions, and he sends them back with his comments.

He also sent me...

Re: Poker Tracker Question

Poker Tracker has a pretty good forum. You might want to try posting your question there. Be sure to specify the site with which you are having this issue.
I personally have never had this issue...

Re: Super standard push, but why are we pushing?

Case 1: he has made hand
A) If I shove, I get a tiny bit of fold equity, plus I get to see two cards on my draw to win the whole enchilada
B) If I call-push any turn card, the blanks will still...

Re: AA when K Flops

Very helpful. Your point about the depth seals it. I'll sleep better tonight -- thanks!

Re: Super standard push, but why are we pushing?

One consideration in favor of pushing is that if another diamond comes you are likely to lose your market

Re: AA when K Flops

I like your thinking, but wouldn't he just shove PF w KK? That's what made me give some probability to AK.

But if it's strictly AA/KK, then of course it's a clear fold since the AA vs AA chance is...

Re: AA when K Flops

sorry about posting the result.

My reason for not check-calling instead of pushing on the flop was the chance he doesnt call with AK since he's so tight.

Borgata WPT Hand: JJ in BB in the money

This is a hand from the Borgata WPT a few days ago. My buddy is beating himself up for misplaying a critical hand, but I'm not so sure it was that bad a play.

16 players left. Blinds 10K/20K with...

Re: FT $300 +20: Chip leader on bubble and reraised

Re: How Slim an Overlay Will U Go Heads Up?

The second play is just as obviously a fold as the first one was an obvious call.

Re: How Slim an Overlay Will U Go Heads Up?

At that stack size for SB, it is game-theoretically correct for him to push his top 90% and for you to call with your your top 90% -- which 65s definitely is.
Call is definitely, positively correct.

Re: UB $30 Rebuy: Flopped Straight -- Best Line?
