Re: turn spot

Easy fold IMO. Seems like the best case scenario we can hope for is BB has 43s and UTG is a moron so you actually have outs.

Re: December Goals ThreaD...

After getting a potential virus scare I decided never to boot into winblows to play poker again, so I've been setting up Linux so PT and PAHUD works. Gonna setup AIM now.

Re: i\'m a huge calling station

Hey I'm rusty and haven't played in a bit, but I probably would've just check/raised the flop, if not I'd rather put a donk in on the turn or river to avoid handing out free cards.

Re: PC asdf config. vs. console controller

I'm guessing you meant 8600GT? I just paid $225 for a 8800GT and it's only been out about a month.

Re: PC asdf config. vs. console controller

I can't get used to it, so I just bought a video card for my PC so I can play CoD4 with a keyboard+mouse.

If you're like me you probably won't enjoy FPS as much, since not only does it feel...

Re: Wii? for Mii?

I think it's a good system for casual gamers and also a good secondary system, especially if you have friends to play it with. If you're a more "serious" gamer and can only get one, you're better off...

Re: How to play turn here?

I would usually check/raise, but these types often check behind their weak pairs for cheap showdowns so I don't mind donking. I think he'll bet his draws, though.

Villain misplayed every postflop street IMO.

Re: Mixed Strategy Blind Defence (QT with bluff-perfect flop)

With the read he's observant and recognizes us as relatively unpredictable, he should know this is a board we might take a shot at, plus he has a tighter range than a "normal" TAG. I don't think it's...

Re: AK UI valuebet?

Didn't have a real read, but I wasn't expecting A9/AJ to be there and call much since he raised PF OOP and I 3 bet multiway, but unless he got really passive with something like 77, which might not...

Re: Ugh, TPTK AQ on scary card checkraise

Keep playing with stove until you find a range that makes your play correct. :P (I used to do this)

Even if that was his range a 3 bet still probably isn't good since you can get capped, and if...

Re: loose peels in blind steal

I agree I wouldn't fold QJ to a flop c/r, but can we really see a SD? I would rather raise or fold the turn in case he has Ax.

Re: loose peels in blind steal

I don't think we can peel for odds on any of these, so if we peel we need to think we have some restealing equity. Some TAGs will c/r alot of air on these flops, but we don't have that read, and this...

Re: JJ vs. chezlaw

Chez has gotten out of line vs me in the past (and vice versa) but I could find a fold on the turn. He's not messing around here unless he's on tilt, and he's controlled that well lately, better than...

Re: Value bet this river? - 55

I have been betting here but it seems very thin and I wonder whether this is too thin of a spot. Even if we're ahead when called 55% of the time, we only have to be bluff raised a fraction of the...

Re: .5/1 KQs multiway peel? (6max)

I'd check the flop. Facing 2 cold on the turn and not closing the action I think you gotta fold.
