Re: Weird hand from 6k tourney in Sweden

I'm still thinking about the minraise for the first time. I usually run into AA/KK when that happens.

Re: Hero Call Time? From FTP 55k

If you're afraid to c-bet with that flop, then fold pre-flop, you'll save money.

Re: Half the table to the flop w AK, flopped ace played weak, this ok?

you must bet the flop, you have to see where you are and thin the herd. This is too sick.

Re: 5/10nl me vs random tag probably a lurker

Re: (NL400) Semi-Bluff Check-Raise all-in when board pairs

Re: WTF? 4-bet min raise?

this is a tough one, you played it correctly. I would put him on a flush draw at this point, the way its played. I'd put him on suited connectors.

Re: fold AA to scary board against push? (not interested in PF)

The problem is you're not interested in PF.

Re: 5/10 VERY VERY Tricky blind on blind

Last time I called the all in, in a similar situation, he had the straight, I lay down the 88's and live to fight another day.

Re: Aces

If it feels like you're up against a draw, push, else lay it down. Only 2 real options.

Re: stealing against people who never fold

If they call anything and you aren't getting the hands, then don't pf raise. Limp if possible and see as many cheap flops as possible, you know they'll pay you off if you hit. Save your chips....

Re: bottom set with deep stacks

depends what you know about him... will he reraise with top pair and a flush draw????? If not you're probobly up against pocket tens and will likely lose a bit pot, hard to lay down.

Re: Top pair good kicker, weird river

Good time to fold, either he's slowplaying a set or just hit 2 pair. I wouldn't put both on a bluff.

Re: SOP in postion w/ AK (general question)

In general, call the raise. AK is great to push around an unraised pot, pressure the blinds, but remember its still a drawing hand. You're a dog to the monsters (pocket AorK's) and at best a coin...

Re: 2/4 Tricky 23s against a regular

I don't like the pf, but as played, lead the flop, fold a raise.

Re: QQ, Bet A flop?

If I have Ax suited, I'll call your bet. If thats your strategy, it needs to be alot bigger re-raise.

Re: QQ, Bet A flop?

I would only call the pre-flop $8 raise. Don't get too excited with your ladies, because when the Ace comes on the flop, they look like tramps.

Re: 100NL - JJ

Don't like the check. You're the preflop raiser, bet right out and see what he does.

Re: JTs vs a reraise

Basically it comes down to a read, but I don't like the play. With top pair, bet into the raiser, I don't like the check.
