Re: Party 2/4 since monster came in

I've also had my worst run since Party started Monster, since congress passed HR4411, Israel invaded Lebanon and Jennifer and Vince broke up.

Being weak minded, I tend to relate outside events...

Re: MPTK was this a good call down?

on river calling down is easy, especially since you don't have to overcall.

Is it really "easy"? Villain 3-bet preflop, 3-bet the flop and bet a river he could so easily...

Does anyone have a hand they can post where they raised preflop, were called in two places, and did not continuation bet the flop?

I cont. bet here 99.9% of the time regardless of my holding, but...

Why not bet the flop? If villain raises you Button usually folds and you can play on as having 5.5 outs (discounted slightly for the possibility of being against AK). The donk could fold...

(KT) second pair - fold the turn?

Sorry ahead of time for the vanilla hand. Trying to focus more on fundamentals these days.

Re: TPGK 4 flush river OOP

I b/f. Unless you've got a read villain loves to bluff rivers, I don't like c/c, and c/f seems awful weak.

He's losing ~3.5 BB/100.

Post hands instead of stats, and you'll get a better idea if and how you're playing poorly.

Who knows, across that small a sample. The most glaring thing is that you don't steal enough.

That's interesting. I think my WtSD is probably ~1-2% too high. As for the blinds, I think we all fold the flop in spots like this too often. And I think it's the exact reason that Adam...

Re: T9 hand

From the last few hands you've posted, I get the impression you either think your WtSD% is low or that you fold your blinds too much. If preflop raiser is "tight" but not a TAG, I fold preflop. As...

Re: What to do with an underpair on the turn?

I bet if villain is truly passive, since folding to a raise is so easy. You'll get money from a 4 and lower PPs.

An unknown could certainly do this with AQ, even AJ. That's a pretty expensive fold.

Villain is 36/26/1.7. Only other read is that he has shown he can fold a hand.
