Re: Never C-betting with air.
I think the answer lies in your opponents strategy/tendencies. For the sake of simplicity lets assume that you have opened from the field for a raise and called only by the BB.
Assume now that on...

Re: Live QQ hand
Sounds a lot like the live games i play in... tbh i don't mind a shove pre-flop... lagtards in these low limit live games will call with JJ/TT/AK maybe even AQ or worse, which more than makes up for...

Re: 1/2 NL hand from Borgata
This has all fallen into place nicely. I'd be pushing my chips in before the dealer had a chance to say "check or bet", villain will think for another minute, call and then muck his AQ.

Re: AA facing river shove 25NL
While i'm stewing this over i ask in chat if he is "donking off with AK" My time bank is running down, and with about 15 seconds left he replies "call".....

Re: $25nl what would you do here?
Dont raise pf
Fold is probably the easiest play here... you are out of position and don't know if u are facing a draw or a made hand. It really smells like JT, but still not a nice place to be......

Re: $50NL 6max 200BB Deep TOP TWO
[ QUOTE ]
My take?
Problem is when you call with JT and hit your 49-1 shot, it invariably always leaves a draw.
I think the only play would be too push on the flop as save for a J or T no...

Re: 25NL combo draw turns a pair
There were lots of turn cards that could have been good for you.... but that one was BAAAD...
C/C i think, if villain is really bad he might bet small with his Q or 2-pair, and now all u want to...

Re: 99 deep vs. TAG
Wow what a yucky spot. This is gonna be really hard to play now without some really strong reads.
Almost tempted to check behind here for several reasons:
1) We can only beat AK, and pot...

Re: 25nl: AA OOP
I can't see that you have done anything wrong here. There are so few hands that beat you, so you can't really play this any different. Its extremely hard to put this opponent on a boat, unless he is...

Re: 50NL AKs 200bb deep
still a good fold... if he's throwing chips around with average holdings wait until u are stronger than just top pair and stack him

Re: 25NL 6max hard KQ, how would u play it ?
Check and call river, depending how much he bets... This is 25NL and villian could be playing a large range, some of which have you beat but you may be good. You are too deep to check-fold to a small...

Re: Deep stacked QQ
The way the hand played out it looks a lot like you were up against Axcc, probably A6, A8, A9 or AK, or possibly a set.
I think betting the turn 1/3 - 1/2 pot is good here, even if it only means u...
