Re: Did I play my aces in game incorrectly

you played this fine on all streets. He made a bad call pf and on the flop and got lucky. This happens. In my experience in these games, folding overpairs on these flops is -ev

Re: Two hands of 200NL

1- getting check-raised on that turn is pretty scary. i'm not sure what he's doing it with that you have beat. guess it depends on reads/history etc.

2- i think the fact that he might be 3 betting...

Re: 200NL KK deep

your hand is massively underepped. i'd be quite happy getting it in here. I think you're ahead of most of his range. only AA and JJ worry me here

Re: Standard play? QQ facing reraise

i play it exactly the same way except betting more on the flop, maybe 22-23. i think your bet looks kinda weak. his raise is pretty big. i'd put him on a draw/combo draw/lower PP/air and push it in

Re: Turned a boat, line check

i bet again, probably around $40. i think a check raise folds out too much and and a check call leaves us in a difficult position on the river especially if it comes another club

Re: turn top two in unraised sb vs bb

i get it in here. i think two pairs and combo draws make up enough of his range to make it worthwhile

Re: Strange SC situation- 100NL

so he's an ubernit who has KK or QQ which he isn't folding ever here. why are you moving in?

Got cute... went wrong

I had quite a loose image preflop and was raising a lot. no info on anyone apart from BB who was a solid player but definately capable of making some moves, i.e. this could easily be a squeeze...

Re: Difficult desision for KK

at 0.25/50 this is a hard spot but i think i fold here. these sorts of huge overbets are rarely bluffs. you can find better spots than this

Re: Do you call?I did...

12.50 for a pot of 20 is good enough odds with this hand i think... his range is huge

Re: is my statement factual?

i lead flop or turn and reraise more on the turn. It depends on my read of the players whether i fold ... is anyone hanging around there with just A5, i know i wouldn't with that kinda action on the...

Re: AJ flop top pair, scary river

I would always raise to $8 pf especially from the SB..

I think flop is fine.

I bet ~$23 on the turn becuase it puts him to more of a test .. he probably feels he can draw for $18 with implied...

Re: How did I play this?

I like it. you make him pay to draw and then let him bluff when he misses. I think you can assume you're ahead on the turn unless he has AcKc/AcQc which is unlikely. On the river no worse hand will...

Re: Do you fold the nut flush here, if i dont am i bad?

if i'm SB i play like this with 99 or 100 only. But it's not me. It's a huge overbet and looks like its almost never a bluff. I hate folding here but i think it's the right move

Re: 88 - third pair OOP vs unkown

I dont really like the first hand. Unless I know he's super aggro i dont wanna be stacking off with QK on this board.

Anyway ... He's shown that he will call your raise with atc and then call a...

Re: 6Max line check needed, several points in question...

I like it although i'd bet more on the turn. you get 3-1 on the river and i'm sure you're good once in 4 here, probably more

Re: AJ - TPTK

I shove here. you have $64 left and there's $72 in the pot. It's not a good board for him to slow play the flop. I think you're good a large percentage of the time

Re: NL200 valuebetting a card you would bluff

I tend to push here hoping he has 33 or A10 just because i believe its the highest +ev play. I think anyone thats calling $50 is calling $100. anyone disagree?
