Re: Playing Back OOP

Is it OK to call preflop if you're not willing to do this sometimes?

Playing Back OOP

Villain is a good regular who 3-bets often. He runs 26/24/3.5 over a couple hundred hands.

Is this a good spot to playback?

Pair + Flush Draw strong enough to push?

Villain is the reason I'm at this table, running 40/21/2 over 100 hands. No real reads.

Push or what?

Re: Standard Line With Medium Overpairs?

Are you automatically folding if a A comes off? What about a K? Or will ANY paint make you fold?

Consider the 2X barrel between 2/3 and full pot.

Standard Line With Medium Overpairs?

Villain is a decent TAG regular, but I don't have anywhere near enough hands to have a read on his 2x barrels. What's your standard line here, call or raise? What % of the time do you call, what %...

Re: Facing flop aggression.....

Why try to exploit a marginal situation when he will surely make a future mistake with that high AF?

Re: Facing flop aggression.....

Same hand basically. You are not in a good spot to use his aggression against him. Position is key.

Re: KK vs cold-calling TAG

Isn't bet-folding this turn the equivalent of betting for info?

Re: Facing flop aggression.....

From an unknown, I would assume the min-raise indicates strength. Furthermore, you're not really in a good spot to do anything about it if he's FOS. Easy fold.

Bet or go to showdown?

Not many hands with villain but he's 40/9/.8 over 40 hands.

Should I bet the turn or go to showdown?

Top pair vs. unknown

Villain is unknown but I've probably been pretty active in the few hands since he's been at the table.

Big decision on flop in 3bet pot

Only about 40 hands with villain. No good reads but he seems like a decent TAG.

OK spot to checkraise??

Only ~20 hands on villain, but he's tight so far.

Re: TPTK, RR\'ed pot semi-deep against solid reg

This really depends on how light he'll call your 3-bet in position. That is what you need the read on, because if he doesn't call light you beat nothing.
