Depending on the villian, I 3bet often w/ small pocket pairs, and it's surely profitable...as stated before if they call with a higher pair or AK (assuming they don't come over) you're most likely...

I put him on an Ax FD...I call but don't really like it. Doesn't make sense for him to raise his set on the flop. You're obv showing agg and he can wait to see if the board gets more drawy and C/R...

I still think CR'ing is better than check calling. there's no way that flop improves for you, and if he's decent, you're check-calling to the river....in which case, most likely, you'll be beat. I...

I fold. My reasoning is because, with the check call on the river, I'm guessing he hit top pair. If he's nitty, it means he prob has something like TPTK, in which case he would probably CR your pants...

i think a river shove on hand 1 is a bad idea. Like the guy above said, I think his CR screams of a set, and his stats don't really suggest otherwise....the diamond obv scared him off which is good...

yeah, I agree with him. I just started playing NL full time (have played against you, poneez) and after an initial ass-kicking I'm moving up quickly. I agree with the CR... like you said earlier,...
