Re: What\'s your range in a short game of Stud Hi (3-4 people)

Limping with just two overcards in a shorthanded game has to be bad. Complete every hand you open with, and remember there's less money in the pot on third than in a full game so you get worse odds...

Re: Big pot in Razz

Fold 5th the first time round, you are probably 2 cards behind seat 8 and you are trailing seat 1 too.

Re: Boris Becker joins PokerStars team

This has to be a joke. Boris Becker can't handle money, he'll go broke playing poker.

Razz: Huge pot

No reads on villains because its the first razz orbit since they sat down. Is the jamming justified or did i do too much? I tried to force the third guy out but it didn't work.

7th is a valuebet...

I peel one here, you get decent odds and the 3 could well have paired him.

Re: 2/4 - middle pair

No way, SB vs BB you have to call down IMO. If you raise from the SB, you seldom have the ace, so BB could bluff you off every time if you don't even showdown second pair.

Re: Acy river

1. Obviously, thats the major drawback of my idea.

2. that depends, of course he gets a better price but a raise is more credible than a bet. This argument doesn't make that much sense anyway...

Re: Acy river

I don't think betting the river is horrible. Against villains who can read hands c/c turns our hand faceup and gets us valuetowned every time he has it because we can't fold. They won't bluff very...

Re: T9s trips river fold

I think the chance CO has AA here alone is enough to call. I don't think preflop is bad if there's a reasonable chance BB comes along as well.

Re: Very confusing razz hand

We were playing headsup and it was the 8th hand of the razz rotation, so i think it's unlikely he confused the games.

Very confusing razz hand

Villain is sort of bad, but not totally braindead (at least i assumed that before this hand). I am also pretty sure he knows that we play razz at the moment.

HORSE - Razz ($3/$6), Ante $0.25,...

I think he wanted to be kind to Gold because he envisages action worth more than 180k with him. If Gold seriously takes up PLO that could result in a massacre.
