Re: [PL100] - small set + nut flush draw , squeeze the turn ?

It smells like BB has a set and I can't even guess what the button has in order to be able to call the flop bet. Given that you didn't raise the flop, and that a low non-spade hit on the turn, I...

Re: [PL50] - How to play the turn.

Tough to say just what villain is holding without a better read, but it sure seems that the turn helped him. He could have something like A24J and made 2 pair to go with his NLD, in which case you...

Re: nut flush on river, can I call here?

People who play Hold'Em but don't know O8 make that sort of mistake. I saw someone raise preflop with KT66 yesterday, so I guess you never know.

Re: Titan question

It's 50 points per dollar for the $10 "free" money and 600 points per $5 of the 100% signup bonus. Also, one thing I discovered the hard way, is that unlike Party Poker, on Titan, if you make a...

Re: My name is Indiana and I am a poker addict

It sounds like you are having trouble figuring out how you want poker to fit into your life. The good thing is that you still have all your options open. You haven't blown all your money, had your...

Re: How to play top set? PL$1/2

If SB and UTG are LAG, and given that the flop went small bet/call/call, chances are pretty good that nobody is holding A /images/graemlins/club.gif2 /images/graemlins/club.gif or anything else that...

Re: LO8 - 2/4 - Is this a check call down all the way

Because you have a pair in your hand, you only have 6 outs to improve (2,JJJ,KK) rather than the usual 10, and you have no low draw. If someone has the 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif I don't think you...

Re: LO8 2/4 hand - Donk Raise on River?

On the river, putting in 2bb costs you 1bb if you get quartered. The BB is also putting in 2bb, so you get a quarter of 4bb=1bb. If you smooth call the SB might call, but who knows, he could have...

Re: nut flush on river, can I call here?

It depends on how the table plays, but you might have had the correct odds to call on the flop strictly for the backdoor low draw. I don't think it's a terrible play given that so many people saw the...

Re: People that harass and berate

What pisses me off is when someone insults a fish "what a stupid bet...you are a moron" etc. and the fish leaves the table instead of donating more to my bankroll.

Re: Easiest bonuses to clear? HELP please!

Deposit $10 and play a hand (I'm not sure if it needs to be a raked hand).

Re: Easiest bonuses to clear? HELP please!

Everest is easy (and I think it's a good site if you like micro limit NLHE), but Party Poker is also very easy. Just play on a full NLHE .02/.04 beginners table. Most of the hands will be raked, so...

Re: [PL$25] Flopping Trips - Turning Nut-Lowdraw

Fold the flop, fold the turn, fold the river. I think you only have a call on the turn if you are sure both players will call on the river when you make your low.

Re: [PL$25] Straight draw on the Flop - C/C or bet it?

It all depends on how your opponents play. IMO this is a reasonable place to try a semi-bluff.

Re: FTOPS #9 Hand

It's one of the weaker AA hands but you still figure to be 50% or better most of the time as long as you can get it HU, and the dead money makes it +EV. Can't be too bad of a play unless you think...

Re: In or out?

If you get quartered in a 3 way showdown, you lose 1/4 of whatever you bet, but if you get half then you make 1/2 of what you bet. So are you more than twice as likely to get quartered as to get...

Re: 666 flop

One other point on the flop is that you could be outdrawn by someone holding an overpair, so it may be a bad idea to give a free card.

Re: 666 flop

With 6 opponents seeing the flop, someone will hold 24 out of the 45 cards you can't see, so your odds of winning are are 24:21. If there is a bet on each round, it will cost you 5 small bets, but...

Re: PLO8 $200: Ugly river card

I think you get scooped or quartered a lot, but he's only betting around 60% of the pot so I don't see how you can fold. I'd love to know the result of this.

Re: .25/.50 Fixed Omaha8 stars hand

By not raising the flop, it's like you were slowplaying, but then the scare card comes on the turn, so I think you fold. Playing for half of a small pot, you don't have to kick yourself too hard if...

Re: LO8 $0.25/$0.50 Flop Decision

I think you have too much equity to fold. Even in the worst case where you are up against K/images/graemlins/diamond.gifX/images/graemlins/diamond.gifYZ and 2345, you are still drawing to a possible...

Re: Which AAxx hands to raise out of the blinds?

I'm with antistuff. Without straight/flush or decent low potential, a lot of the hands will be hard to play OOP in a multi-way pot, even if they are +EV in a no fold'em simulation.

Re: Everest bonus $200 clearance rate

You get 1 "Summit Point" for every dollar in rake from the table. The bonus clears at $0.07 per summit point. There are no increments: if you earn a 1 cent bonus, that cent is added to your account...
