Re: Require health insurance assistance

All good responses. I guess I am the only one who likes to find loopholes.

Another suggestion (especially if you are a poker player earning a high taxable income) is to look into (here come 2...

Re: Require health insurance assistance

The sooner you apply, the better. It depends on the state that you live in, but in general, for cases of pre-existing conditions, if you have had coverage under the company for x years without an...

Re: Black Friday @ Foxwoods....

Waited 9 hours for 1/2 on Friday. But the game was worth the wait... sort of.

200NL Stars, 2 Hands, 1 Villain

Posting for a friend... coupla really interesting hands against same villain. First hand is the more interesting one. Very little history, but in ~3 rotations, villain has been active and moved...

Re: AK calldown?

Raise flop to 22. Raise turn to 55. Once we get there, river call is fine.

Re: 100NL 2 pair on drawy board against nit

Good analysis by Nick. At that point on the flop, there is enough money in the pot to make a shove ok even against a virtual coin flip.

Re: unhappy with my play on maybe all streets 200 NL

Raise flop.

Why are we shoving here? Make it ~65? Plan for shove is fold?

100NL Overpair, Tough Board

Opponent is very passive in 20-25 hands at the table. 50/10/3 and the 3 is from smallish bets with weak hands.

Turn I didn't love betting but thought I had to against such a weak villain. ...

Re: Call or Fold?

Limping utg with J9s in a live game isn't as bad as it looks.

Flop bet is bad, and you get set up for the situation that you are in, where you end up putting as little money as possible in with...

Re: What do you think of this bluff?

Standard. If he calls, do we 3/4 pot any non-spade river?

Re: KK 4 bet

I 90% 4-bet preflop... looks like a squeeze from the BB.

SB is confusing as hell, he's slowplaying OOP and then just more than min 4-betting. This just might be the worst played AK in history or...

Re: I shove and shove and shove and shove (6 hands)

1 - Apparently is fine, but why not bet or c/r turn?
2 - Standard.
3 - 55-60 on the flop? As played, c/f turn, unless he's really as fishy as you are making him out to be... then I like this move....

Re: nut flush draw vs tag reraise in 3 way pot

Shove? It's gotta be pretty close. Plenty of overpairs in there though.

Re: $100 NL have a monster flop but lose

Raise flop to 18-20. Bet closer to 3/4 pot on the turn.

Re: Can you justify the push on the flop?

Head asplode... why are we not pushing over his flop raise? Do we know he folds to the shove? Seems like a pretty huge fish, I could buy that logic.

Re: Actually, that was a bad title

I don't see how we get away here. In villain's eyes, you raised UTG and are now calling him down on a really raggedy board. Why would he put you on better than one pair? How often does he put you...

Re: Middle Set on Drawy Board

Looks like a medium pp, or, more likely, 89c-KQc. Push is fine, hopefully its not A5c.

Re: 100NL River Decision

Thanks for all responses. This was my first post here (hopefully of many). I ended up just calling, and it was close between that and shoving at the time. I ended up not being able to think of a...

Re: NL100: bottom set (tens) on a coordinated flop

Push here is fine. You are going to be ahead of his range and he is calling 90% of the time.

As far as preflop, I am in between OP and skibbel and think the call/raise ratio is closer to 50/50,...
