Re: Ok, so I played this terribly...

[ QUOTE ]
I don't mind the C/R on the end too much. He's been betting out with anything he'd call a big bet with to begin with, so I figure it works out either way.

Re: TPWK in decent sized pot

If BB is taggish, what do you put him on here? Would he bet out here on the flop without an ace? If you don't think he would, I would check turn, fold river. You're only ahead of one ace combo...

Re: Ok, so I played this terribly...

I really hate the river check/raise. If he has a full house here he is calling an $8 bet (or more) if you just bet out here. You don't get credit for quads in small stakes games like these, so...

Ok, I've been putting it off but I'm going to finally join Stars. I know there is no rakeback, but I just looked at their site and saw they don't even have a first time signup bonus. They...

Re: Futon Suggestions

Whatever you do, don't get one from Wal Mart. I think my roommate paid $100 for it, and it wasn't even worth that. From the start you could feel the bars up your ass through the padding when...

Re: Another reason Stars> Party

One more thing I forgot is that Lee said Stars has no plans to add a casino or blackjack. They plan to stay strictly poker.

Re: OOT: Name my hockey team for $10

I remember reading in USA Hockey a few years ago about the adult league team of a former NHLer (forget who). They were the Peter North Stars, and used a modified version of the old North Stars' logo.

Pocket 7s facing a huge raise pf

I don't have the HH for this, but it just happened and it confused the hell out of me.

Re: Party $10: QJs, flush facing paired board on river

Does his $5 bet put him all in? I call if it does, or raise him enough to put him AI without even thinking about it. I think you'll see a bare T in his hand most often. I can't put him on a better...

I'd just watch out on I-5 in general.

By watch out, do you mean 65 means 65 and 55 means 55, or do you get a 5-7 mph cushion?

Too weak w/ AK? $100 NL

Villian in this hand is 48/18/4 over 30ish hands. Not many hands, but hes been really agressive, as his stats dictate.

In looking back on the hand, I feel like I played it way too passively. ...
