WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED
Glad to see that pushing wasn't a bad play. I pushed, seat 4 called. Seat 3 turned over K-Q offsuit, seat 4 had pocket 7's. I was glad my reads were on spot, but the flop came 4-4-2, turn was a 5,...

Reno Hilton tournies late Spet, early Oct.
Anyone from 2+2 planning on playing any of these? I'm going down there for a couple of smaller, $100 and $200 buy-in NL tournies the first weekend. How many players is the norm and how are the...

Tourney strategy question
I'll be playing in a NL tourney on Sept. 23 & 24 and would like to get your suggestions on a strategy. It's actually a MTT but plays like a single table-tourney.
Buy-in $100. Starting chips...

Re: Norm Chad Keep It Up
Norm is head-and-shoulders above the team of Vince & Mike. This ain't life and death, it's poker. Chad's does make me chuckle once in a while, but more importantly, he calls out the guys that are...

Re: Negreanu image\'s changing on HSP
I find DN's personality refreshing. Although I enjoy Matasow much more on HSP than on the WSOP segments, overall I find him annoying. At least DN seems to be having fun most of the time, and he...

I've had Wilson's Turbo Texas HOld'em for approx 1 year and found it to be very helpful in many ways. I only started playing seriously around the time I got the software, and I beleive that it has...

Re: Ace-Little, How to play
A suited ace will get me into a pot, if I can do it cheaply. I agree with everyone else as far as Ax offsuit when x<9, dump it other than in special situations.

Re: Hooked on hooks
3-bet pre-flop to try to get a read on the strength of the other hands out there. The odds are that your J's are the best pre-flop.
Raise post-flop too. If you get re-raised, the J's probably...

Re: Question on rebuy strategy
I believe that rebuys can be purchased at any time up to the one-hour break. I have seen two theories on rebuying.
#1) Rebuy immediately and use the extra chips to bully smaller stacks, or;
