betsizes, benign cards vs not?

thanks...

Re: Please help.

take a 2 week break. when your brain sees such a high frequency of losses/badbeats/losing sessions for as long as you have, it can get conditioned to expect a higher frequency of losing showdowns,...

Re: observed stars 200/400

Explanation of the bunching effect:
an argument for tightening up your steal 10-handed vs 3-handed is the bunching effect. basically, the concept as buffsta described is that in a 10 handed game, if...

Re: observed stars 200/400

dd, props for opening 70%+ hands on the button. I don't think its optimal, but thats just awesome (and i mean that with absolutely no sarcasm). FWIW, I open 50-55% but I'll admit I've been trying to...

Re: help me raise my wtsd

i think calling in that specific spot is a losing proposition. his range is probably AJ+, and pockets given his tight preflop stats. you arent going to get a fold often enough to make a turn check...

Do any of you actually count how often your "crying calls" win? It's not hard - bit of paper and a pen, and tick marks. Count them. I recommend keeping track similarly of your bluffs. ...

Re: How did you get to Mid-high Stakes..question from a 2/4-3/6 player

You know you should move up limits when:
1. The stakes you are playing at starts feeling a little bit like fake money.

2. you start wanting to play more and more tables because you are pretty...

Re: Is KTo utg profitable, according to your stats?

I profit with KTo utg, but its thin.

I think the correct way to play this and all marginal hands preflop is based on table image like wackjob said. If you have a tight image, throwing this one in...

Re: Middling pairs versus aggressive opponents

i hate this spot too. i think my standard way of playing it would be to call the three bet. from there:

If the turn is safe aka no a k, no heart, sometimes I'll check call turn, check call the...

Re: 44-47% steal. money or not money.

you adjust how often you steal relative to the skills / styles of the sb and bb. but ultimately in aggregate ur steal % is going to converge to a number given a limit.

I'm talking about converging...

44-47% steal. money or not money.

What about for different limits? 20? 60? 100+?

I think Wackjob's series of hands present very interesting turn decisions.

Re: river fold.

What possible hands beat you?
AQ, QT, Q8, x6, suited clubs. out of all of these hands, I'd say q10 is the only one that wouldn't raise you on the turn, with the exception of Axsuitd clubs.

What...

Re: How\'s this hand?

I concur as well. My standard line is call down all the way. Given the way you played it on the flop, my advice would be to fold too.
