Re: Flopped a really strong draw, how to play?

[ QUOTE ]
First off, that's not that strong of a draw, just a simple flush draw. I would say check this and call if your getting the right odds.

You also have middle pair. You are...

I think we are probably ahead and he's probably drawing to 2 outs (yeah yeah, in real life he had 13). Don't see the...

Re: $55 25k guar on PS

Hmm, well, now you have a read. "Will not lay down a draw". I just figured the flop call meant "I think my hand might be good", and the preflop action sure looked like a medium PP. Ah well, not the...

Re: Satellite Strategy - Playing the MONSTER stack close to the bubble

[ QUOTE ]

Pushing around the short guys and putting them on tough decisions... not letting them just fold in.

Why do you care if they have to make tough decisions? I mean,...

Re: $55 25k guar on PS

Use the hand converter. You'll get more responses.

That's a tough spot, and I'm not sure there's a great answer. Seems most like he has 77-JJ (other pairs possible too I suppose). Seems unlikely...

Re: SB in a limped pot, 4/180

Fold river. I'm surprised someone said fold preflop. I mean, I think some people are a little too loose completing, but A7 is too strong of a hand to muck getting 5-1.

Re: Live tourney, can I possibly fold any of these??

Hand 1. Fold. KK doesn't play well 4 handed. OR played this like AA, and he pushed with a reraise and 2 cold calls after his raise...he has AA. MP called 1/3 of his chips so he's not...

Re: WSOP hand

I fold to that flop check-raise and I don't think it's very close. If they are going to start playing back alot, there will be better situations to make them pay for it.

Re: Theoretical question about heads up

Also, this is more true if your opponent will not raise after you complete without a big hand. If he's raising every time you complete, you want to complete with less (and complete-reraise with any...

Re: QQ top set

Yeah, I don't see any particular reason to shove here. I mean, if he ever folds its a mistake for you to push. You might say "charge a heart draw", but a) he's certainly not folding a flush draw and...

Re: Stars 109 bluff

What story are you trying to tell here? That is, you think he's a good player, so he's got to be putting you on something. What hand do you think you are repping? Seems to me an overpair would have...

Re: How to play KJ-KQ,AQ-A10 from button and cutoff ?

I'd raise AQ, probably AJ. I'd muck ATo or KJo, but limp along if they were suited. With just one limper, I'd probably raise KQ. It's very unlikely he has you dominated, and you may well have him...

Re: Did i make the right move here?

With your stack size this is a pretty no-brainer push. The fact that the opponents are aggressive is a bonus. If one of them has AA/KK oh well. Hopefully you are up against 2 underpairs or an...

Re: HERO folds here

Hand 1: I don't see where you are sitting on this table, but in any case, this is a pretty easy fold. There are times you can call a raise with small suited connectors. When that raise represents...

Yes, if it were a multi-way pot, but we were head's up.

Re: 11$ 180p, early hand QQ scary board. turn play?

Well, sometimes a flush of course. But in terms of stuff you beat, 88-JJ, AK/AQ with A/images/graemlins/club.gif. 66 if he's a dink.

Re: FTP 30r: QQ on bubbe facing 2 all ins

I call. I think you are beating his range handily unless you have a read on the guy. If you've been aggressive (i.e. he thinks your hand range is very large), even easier call.

Re: 3 uber boring MTT hands

Hand 1: Really need stack sizes. Buy-in would be good too. A read would probably be nice, but given that it's level 1, you probably don't have one. If the board doesn't have 2 of a suit, it's...

Re: 11$ 180p, early hand QQ scary board. turn play?

First of all, bet more on the flop. I know Harrington is a fan of smaller continuation bets, but those mostly apply when it's just raise/call preflop. In this case, we have already shown the strength...
