Re: 2/4 dumb spot w/ no reads

If our 8/7 outs are live then I'd say its not a stretch to say that our one pair on the turn is good, so it doesn't matter.

Re: 200bb bluff

I think the turn raise is too large. It gives the impression that you want to win the pot now or are committing yourself with a big spade draw. But this fact does make your river bet more credible....

Re: better line?

I dislike how this was played. I think that the turn bet commits us, so I would shove it or shove that river and be pretty happy about the hand. If the multiple callers scares you, then it is better...

Re: 10/20 Live Bellagio River Full House

This seems like a trivial call to me. I think he can have missed spades/56 and try to get you off a middle pair or 7 on that turn card. And now he doesn't really know what to put you on but decides...

Re: 10/25 tough river spot with JJ

I don't know the villain, but I don't think the flop raise is strange. That size raise is usually my standard when I'm calling liberally in position, and want to play many different hands the same...

Re: Hand from Villians perspective (dont read if u dont want results)

I dislike raising the river in this situation. Small raise to 7.5k doesn't improve our odds against a straight chop much (38% vs 44% for calling). So even if he always folds a...

Re: Thin or too thin?

I would check. Considering that you have already doubled him up, I would think even donkeys are not going to call this big bet with A7 or something, since they expect you to have it this time. And...

Re: 25 50 hu...wtf on river

I kind of like your line with a bluff since his hand looks like an ace or medium ten. And it would be a really sick value checkraise with a hand like T9 or AK if he is a decent hand reader for the...

Re: 10/20 no-limit passive AA hand

Thanks guys. I checked, and he checked behind with a missed straight draw.

Re: 10/20 no-limit passive AA hand

I apologize if this is a boring hand. But I'd appreciate any comments. Thanks.

10/20 no-limit passive AA hand

Hey guys, long time reader. I'd like your opinions on my play in this hand. This hand was on Party 10/20 from about a week ago, so its from memory.

I have about $4500 and my opponent covers me...
