This is a fold?

Villain in this hand is 50/4 over 24 hands, which doesn't matter as much as the fact that several hands prior he had limped AAJ2ss utg and gotten really aggro when he turned his set. So I'm thinking...

Re: Another river value bet situation

[ QUOTE ]
Strictly from a railbirds' perspective, I would have to say fold just because all you've got is a busted draw. It's difficult to put CO on a hand like 2 pair in this situation because he...

Re: JT98ds vs set on flop

I just checked my preflop equity against his actual exact hand (AA42 rainbow) and I am a 51/49 fav. I'm sure you all knew that but it's just really remarkable to me so I had to share, lol.

Re: JT98ds vs set on flop

I checked the flop with the intention of considering to fold. I really didn't plan this hand out very well. Once he shoved I realized just how much equity I probably had and was pretty sure I had to...

JT98ds vs set on flop

Ok, in this hand I 3bet from the SB with JT98ds and am 4bet by the opener. Do I call and get it in on a favourable flop or just shove for value (?) over top of him preflop? Also, on an A hi flop, I...

Re: Can i get some insight 10nl

Raising pre is not the most atrocious play, but the problem with it (especially knowing you're getting at least 3 callers) is that on every flop that does not contain a 5, you must check fold. I...

Re: 50 NL Full Ring Flopped bottom 2 in BB

Bet more on turn and fold river. You really don't beat anything here.

Re: Can i get some insight 10nl

Preflop just check. You're clearly getting 3 or 4 calls and your hand is only good if you flop a set, so don't throw money away like that. Check the flop and fold to a bet, you basically have a...

Re: KK, flop comes with an Ace, never know what to do here?

I'd b/f. Like vixicator said, checking basically makes your hand face up and begs for a cheap showdown.

And CRAI the turn?? Wtf?

Re: 25NL - Steal attempted, flopped second pair, c-bet got min-raised

KInd of a trashy hand to play regardless of the situation, btu I'll steal with worse sometimes myself so I shall not comment on preflop /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Flop cbet is good, and I would...

Re: 50nl - AK very deep

I would call the turn and c/c a reasonable river bet.

Re: NL 50: When donkeys attack, min-raisaments wtf?

Good advice so far. Cbets should be a bit bigger, more like 3/4 pot than 1/2 pot.

Re: NL10 - JJ facing all in overbet

Slightly ahead/drawing almost dead=easy fold. Well played.

Re: low pairs being 3bet preflop, is calling correct here??

Fold them both. Hand one you're going to need to flop a set and still have a good board for the villain's hand in order to win a sizeable pot, and you're behind his range. Kinda makes me think of...

Re: AA - do I have to go to the felt................

Oh yeah. If he has a set, that sucks, but I would get it in every single time against this guy.

Re: Could you fold AA?

[ QUOTE ]
I cant imagine that a flop is played this aggressive with a set here.

Really? You can't see a set being played like this with a flush draw on board and more than 150bb...

Re: ATo aus CO vs. All-In ?

Fold preflop, as played raise the flop to $7-8 (with so many players seeing a flop this drawy, I think you need to raise more, right?), and once you get two callers, DON'T bet the turn. Fold the turn...

Re: Calling range for maniacs.......

I would call hand one, and I would raise the flop in hand two for value and hope beyond hope to get it all in right there.

Re: Nut flush, paired board

[ QUOTE ]
I don't think you should call your hand the nut flush, cause it ain't the nuts. That sort of linguistic sloppiness can actually mess up your thinking.

This is the nut...

Re: Fold or Call? (new player)

The only thing I can really beat is if he's semibluffing a flush draw.

Fold pre, but everything after that is very good.
